Ate here as a little trip from our hotel after a day at Busch Gardens. The wait staff and the atmosphere were both phenomenal but the food was not at all impressive. We ordered the tuna sashimi as a starter and when it came out it smelled bad and tasted bad as well (spicy but in a “gone bad” kind of way). For our entree’s we ordered the chicken (was overdone) and the steak (came out cooked incorrectly and had to send back). I’m never fussy about food when i go out to eat but this food was kind of sad, especially for the price. A new chef/kitchen staff are drastically needed if this is the norm.

Amazing cuisine and service! We stayed at Wedmore Place for a few days and dined at Cafe Provencal and the tavern for every meal. Both were so awesome we didn't even think about dining anywhere else. The service is personable and professional without being stuffy. The staff was attentive and seemed to always anticipate our needs and desires. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Husband and I visited about 4 months ago and loved it! The atmosphere was wonderful and the food is untouchable. Service was also outstanding. We ordered a bottle of wine that was not ready so they gave us a glass of champagne on the house! We had the fried oyster appetizer and it was delicious. I got the steak (rare) and it was cooked to perfection. It is rare that my husband goes to a nice restaurant and does not order steak, but he decided to go with a fish dish that was served in a broth (forgive me for not remembering more detail, it was awhile ago). It's even more rare that my husband decides not to order a steak and DOESN'T regret it - but he was obsessed with this dish. It's a but pricey, but we knew that going in. Will visit again.
