Had a wonderful experience at Appalachian Sage this morning. Delicious açaí bowls and fresh fruit. A great addition to downtown Lexington!

Came in here on their second day of being open. I think that this place is so cozy and I will definitely be back. I found their place to be super warm and inviting and they had a lot of options whether that be juices, smoothies, bowls, and I think possibly coffee. I prefer açaí bowls to be on the more tart side and found that they might be a little be too sweet but the fruit on top combatted the sweet so it was all good. I would totally recommend this to a friend. Also found that their prices are SUPER good.

I had the privilege of visiting Appalachian Sage today. I am super excited to tell you about my encounter in the newest downtown Lexington acai shop! First of all, when you walk into the shop, you'll immediately notice not only the coordinated colors of the walls/signs/accessories but also, the cleanliness, tidiness, and healthiness of the space! I appreciated the little touches of beautiful napkins, neon signage, modern décor, and natural light.
Next, I ordered a medium "Lexington Proper" acai bowl. The bowl was absolutely gorgeous when it came with blueberries, bananas, and strawberries on top of the wholesome goodness of frozen acai berries, granola, local honey, and a peanut butter sauce. It tasted BETTER than it looked. I then sat in the dining room which had plenty of warm sunlight beaming through the windows, beautiful plants (which you can buy!) sitting on the window sills, and soft music playing in the background. Before I left, I purchased two bottles of their "Beets by Sage" from the cooler filled with fresh-pressed juices. Finally, I stopped in the "Cavern of Curiosity" where there are many little novelties and whatnots for you to peruse. I am delighted that this place has opened and encourage you to stop by and experience this first hand! :-) I can't wait to go back when I can spend more time in the "Cavern of Curiosity." You won't be disappointed!
