Mahana Poke

Place was pretty desolate, not much of a lunch crowd. The food was alright, portion is kind of small for what they charge. Restaurant is cleanly and tidy, service was good. Overall there needs to be more choices and portion in terms of the food itself.

The first time we went to Mahana Poke, we loved it. The last few visits, however, have not been good and we're quickly changing our opinion of the place. The staff is friendly, but often not knowledgeable. This would be fine if there was at least one employee/ manager who could help them. The last time we went, we tried to use a coupon we received in the mail and no one knew how to use it. They also couldn't figure out how to give me a receipt. The last couple of visits they've been out of items. One day they were out of both chicken and shrimp. This would be our go-to for a quick lunch if we could count on them having all of the menu items and if staff were better trained.

We are regular sushi eaters, so we were happy to stumble across poke. When i and my kids all love our food, a 5 star is warranted! Good food, fast service, friendly and helpful. We ordered 3 different bowls and 2 of us had the purple rice - very much enjoyed everything. Recommend!

Had the Maui poke bowl, it comes with choice of rice, I had the "purple" rice which is a mix of black and white, they offered me a taste since I had never heard of it, tasty! They were able to customize it to my liking and I added two toppings! Staff are great! To get that fifth star I'd prefer sustainable plastic items????

Not a fan of the rice machine but they give you decent amount of fish, toppings, sauce, and add-one. This place was walkable from where I was staying, I wouldn’t drive out of my way for this poke place but the value is very good. I would come back if I was in the area again.
