The food is fairly priced, the menu extensive, particularly for a breakfast & lunch-only place. Interestingly, the food is very NON-greasy. The eggs were not "slick" w/ grease and the hash browns did not leave a greasy residue on the plate. The omelettes were EXCELLENT and the eggs-over-easy were flawless.
Like most people on this site, I did not appreciate the lack of assigned wait staff. "Every waiter is your waiter" means no one is your waiter.
I suggest that as a marketing ploy it be continued, and co-operation between wait staff encouraged. However, behind the scenes, each table should have a primary designated server.
Bottom line: I am frequently dissatisfied with breakfast at most restaurants. THIS PLACE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It was MUCH BETTER than the usual IHOP/Pancake/Waffle House fare

This review is based on a breakfast visit. The ambience is nice and the seating arrangements are plentiful. The establishment follows a unique serving style in which the staff share all the tables, i.e., no special waiter is assigned to a given table. I'm not sure if this arrangement necessarily yields the best result because the ball can get dropped between the ever-rotating waiters. The breakfast menu is extensive. That's great; however, I don't think that greatness transfers to the food too. Between the five of us, three or four distinct plates were ordered, and the verdict was that they were just alright.

The espresso maker was broken, which one would have been a bit more forgiving about had not the regular coffee been so pedestrian. Imagine a 2-shot espressos latte vs. a watered-down coffee; therefore, the disappointment was quite acute. Then, there was this peculiar service arrangement. Despite the waiting staff being polite and agreeable, the letdown in not getting hot milk for coffee in time outweighed that geniality. All in all, I think this place can be quite good if some distinction to the quality of the food is attained.

Atmosphere has that farmhouse/industrial/rustic vibe that I love. Food was delicious. We had the corned beef hash (it has all the crispy bits) and apple cinnamon pancakes. Both were perfectly balanced with flavor, texture, and portion size. Service was also great. I am looking forward to going again and trying more items.

Love this restaurant. My dad goes often since he loves eating out for breakfast (from years of traveling, and early morning meetings) and I went with him to see what it was like. Loved the food, and the people know my dad by name! Very welcoming and kind staff. Made me feel at home!
