“This restuarant has been around for as long as I can remember. The food is like what your grandmother would prepare on Sundays. Everything is made from scratch and lots of local ingredients are used. The fried chicken is crispy and moist and the homemade rolls are amazing. The desserts are made by cooks who know how tobake a tasty pie. This restaurant is a trip back in time when a great deal of care was taken to prepare wholesome, delicious food. I have eaten here many times throughout my life. I always stop here when I visit Virginia. This place is the real thing.”
