“Honest review with no prior reseach before eating. The food was was about your average quick Chinese food place. There's the issue, it wasnt quick. The customer service was normal, nothing to complain about. The general tsos chicken was good, slightly over cooked. The beef and broccoli was half and half. The broccoli was perfect but the beef was over cooked. Food was little saltier than desired but still a decent meal. -1 star for cold/doughy egg rolls -1 star for overly sauced dishes. Great portions for the price.”

“We had an absolutely AMAZING dining experience this evening at Vera’s Kitchen. Not only was the food absolutely delicious the service was outstanding. They were able to accommodate both gluten-free and vegan dietary restrictions. The chef came out and checked to make sure everything was perfect. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. Also the fresh ginger turmeric tea that the owner recommended was out of the world. Cannot say enough great things about Vera’s Kitchen and cannot wait to go back!!”

“My husband and I moved here in 2018. And I honestly feel terrible for not having made a review sooner. What triggered this moments besides many other moments was this great shrimp scampi I had requested. The absolute best. But what's really a winner here is the steak and cheeses. They are to die for, I've even gone to Philadelphia to make sure of it that they do infact have the best here at Tony's. And let me tell you I definitely was not a steak and cheese person until I came here. When we first met this place we stumbled upon it and it's been a staple spot for us to go nearly 2 times a week. What makes it even better are the faces we see. If they welcomed us newcomers and now feel like regulars I can imagine the long build relationships held here. Please come here, make the trip. My husband has it easy cause we'll always have a place we can agree on. Our go to meal:steak and cheese, wings and a pizza roll. What more could you ask for!”

“Great shop. Clesn and warm and one I had the notion to say something about their air conditioning fixed, or they may get killed. I went back a week or two later and they had it fixed. “I was in the area and decided to give this place a try. I figured I would try something I’ve never had before and got the ox tail. To my surprise, it was pretty tasty and I would order it again. The meal came with two sides and was enough to fill me up for lunch. I met the owners and they are very nice and customer service oriented. I’ll be back again to try some more dishes.”

“They hosted a surprise party for my wife's birthday in their private dining last night and it went great! Food and Beer were delicious (make sure you try the candied bacon appetizer)! The staff, especially Savannah (waitress) and Dana (hostess) were attentive to our needs. My only quibble - I wish we had one more waitress dedicated to our party of 25 people. It took a little bit to get all the orders taken and served with only 1 waitress. That said, we will definitely be back again!”

Over fried onion rings and the fries are a 50/50 on being good. Small beer selection with Happy Hour everyday from 4-7 with $3.25 domestic beers and $4.50 premium beers. Been here many times, when it is crowded... it's slow. Friendly staff but they could use kitchen help. Great views of the trains and station. Fun to sit outside in nice weather.”

“We've been going to Carmello's for years. It's a nice restaurant and was our go-to if we were too lazy to go towards DC. I remember a few times later in life the food being too salty, or bland, or missing something so we stopped going for awhile. This time the food was good but the prices were higher. The duck was really good and probably worth it's price but the other dishes weren't really. Growing up, Carmello's was a staple but now, I'd rather just go to one of the other places in Old Town. I'd love for them to get it together, it's a nice atmosphere and we like going. But in the end, something seems to always just miss it's mark.”
