Bubba's Shrimp Shack Urbanna

Food was okay, but overpriced. Server was nice enough but woefully undertrained in ingredients of what was being offered (mainly for dietary restriction) and seemed unwilling to check with someone who might know. Not a horrible experience but not one I'll be repeating any time soon.

Amendment to above review: Cole (owner) extended an invite for me to return and allow him the opportunity to make my last experience up to me. He did not disappoint. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was quite good and Scott (manager) was on top of things, making sure my friend and I left happy campers. Thanks so much Cole and Scott for wanting to convert me into a believer in Bubba's! My friend and I shall return!

Mostly due to the lack of ability to pour a beer. Three inches of head and 5 inches of beer. Food wasn't bad but nothing special. I had the shrimp basket because the fish and chips basket was farmed catfish. Shrimp was lightly breaded but tasted like it was frozen. Crab cake looked way over cooked.

Excellent fried shrimp and fried okra, at a great price. They have a fantastic remoulade. I had the crab cake yesterday, which was mediocre. My husband said the same for the mac and cheese. Green beans are also quite tasty; a proper Southern preparation with bacon and onions. Worth a visit for sure!

New Bubba's Shrimp Shack in Urbanna, Va. Just like the Bubba's in Gloucester, Va. Great food and the atmosphere is wonderful. Nice inside and pretty big inside. Love the decor. It's kinda of industrial looking but it ha good flow and plenty of seating with all that good food you expect from Bubba's.

Shrimp and fries were perfect! Shrimp was lightly breaded and large. Plenty to eat and even had leftovers to take home. Our first impression was great! Cant wait to go back
