Portside Grill on Urbanna Creek

The restaurant is beautiful, wait staff and hosts are very pleasant and accommodating. The food was good but slow coming out of the kitchen. I'm sure the kinks will be worked out. The view is the best around, boats are able to dock and enjoy a meal and drinks. No other restaurant like it in our area, we'll definitely be going back.

On all levels, they ace.
Atmosphere, exemplary service, menu choices, ample portion sizes, reasonable cost. We have eaten there twice. Both times equally impressed and pleased we chose to try them out. We are loyal patrons now and look forward to many future meals at Portside Grill.

We had lunch for a party of 6, 5 adults and 1 child. The weather was beautiful and we were seated outside with a view of Urbanna Creek and the marina on site. We had a moderate wait before we got any drinks. We all asked for water which seemed to take some time before some of them arrive. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry. There were a few items they were out of and they only serve appetizers and sandwiches (lunch items) until later in the evening. The food finally arrived and everyone in our party had good comments on all of the lunches order. Overall, Great location and good food. If you are in a hurry or looking to strap on the feed bag and be stuffed when you leave, look elsewhere. This place is priced moderately and when they get there service up to speed, should be excellent.

First off the staff is great, they are quick to take orders and serve starter drinks. The appetizers are GREAT, they are almost a mean in
themselves. If you like to relax then this will just about make you. Each time i Have visited, I have ordered something different, and it has never disappointed me. Views of the water always very relaxing , of course eating inside is the place to be on these hot summer days.You still get the great views only with the AC keeping you cool.
I would highly recommend Portside Grill, if your coming by car or by boat.

Great dinner! When we arrived by boat, waitstaff from the outdoor tables explained boat slip availability. We chose indoor dining due to heat- decor is charming! Food
locally sourced and cooked to perfection, using fresh herbs and produce. Owner checked on us, very welcoming. We had a toddler in tow- even though there is a cute bar area, there is a nice vibe for dating couples as well as families.
