Something Different

This is my favorite place in Urbanna or Deltaville area. Wonderful ribs, pulled pork,brisket. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. Home made ice cream is exceptional especially the adult flavors

I have been here many times. Very eclectic, but delicious menu. Love everything I have had here. Had the famous Virginia salad sandwich, it was delicious. Also recommend the VA muffuletta.

Have only eaten there twice but both times the food and service were excellent. Stepping into the the unassuming storefront entrance takes you back to bygone days. The original floors and tin tin ceiling are beautifully worn. But the food! Wow, the menu descriptions do not do the dishes justice. Most recently I had the Mixto, a local twist on a traditional Cuban sandwich. Generous portion, with pulled pork , Swiss cheese, mustard and pickles. The flavor of the pork, smoked and pulled on site, was perfection withe right balance of pickle and mustard. I ordered a side of onion rings, which were great, but I couldn't finish them because the sandwich was huge and my priority! If I lived in Urbanna I would eat there every day!

The oyster salad I ordered was the best ever. My boyfriend had the crab cake dinner and was very happy. Our waiter, Chris, was very attentive.The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the bottled beer was not very cold.
We'll be back.

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Down home restuarant located in a quiet town.
Pick up a crab cake sandwich while you're here. You won't be disappointed.
