“3 star in Bburg, 2 star in a city. Chicken was very dry. Hawaiin bowl might have had 6-8 small pieces of tuna. If you want cheap , Sakura in Cburg is better. I want Bburg restaurants to do well.”

“Hethwood Market in Blacksburg catered our lunch at the dealership today. Delicious food, great value, and exceptional customer service! They are flexible and accommodating in meeting our needs. Our staff thoroughly enjoyed the fresh variety of lunch offerings without a single complaint which is unusual. We will be ordering again from Hethwood Market in the future and if you have a company, organization, group, or family that needs food and wants professional service, call Tonya Phillips at Hethwood Market - they can even deliver! - Steve Price at Duncan Mazda Ford Lincoln in Blacksburg, VA.”

“I really wanted to love this place. They are being safe about covid, and I love that they deliver. But both soups we tried from this place were... not as expected. Their "New England Clam Chowder" was yellow, had bits of carrots in it, large chunks of potato, and clam shells that I had to pick out. This isn't what I would expect from the description of New England, and no one was a fan here. The other soup I tried (onion-artichoke) was really good, but also not quite what I imagined from the description either.”

“The setting for the Inn is beautiful. My husband and I were guest from June 11-14 and love the location but the service was unexpectedly lacking. And I am taking in to consideration all the changes due to Covid 19. There is NO room service unless you request it. Which I did after the first day, because I was not told when we checked in that you had to request room service the night before. Long story, short the second day No room service. On the third day we got minimal service. No new soaps, no straightening the bed when the trash was emptied no new bag in the garbage can, no new paper cups. I will say the young man at the front desk did bring us new towels on the second day. When we checked out I told the young lady at the front how we were disappointed in the service since we had never experienced this before while staying there. She just nodded and said she was sorry. I am sure the manager was there with her and he looked up from the computer and continued with his work. Maybe if we had experienced this in the past while staying there it could have been expected of course if this had been a prior experience we would not have gone back. Very different, everyone just going through the motions and really just do not care. This is not what you think of when you think of Virginia Tech. I do not like to be negative but you pay good money to enjoy a beautiful place when you are on vacation.”

“Nice new pizza store "Your Pie" in Blacksburg..healthy, competative combo price ($13) (pizza, side desert/ salad, drink + unlimited topings) and healthy. Is it delicious? I thought I would not finish the meal but picture speaks. I can say this one of the two in town you eat a real pizza.”

“This place has only been open for four days, and they're already doing things so right! Absolutely delicious food - fresh, inexpensive, well cooked and flavorful. The tacos are extremely filling. The service is also wonderful. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. I noticed that the other waiters were just as kind and efficient, as well. The location itself is clean and inviting. What an awesome place to grab some great food from wonderful individuals!”

“Nice place! Food was delicious and they serve bread before the meal with a sauce that was very yummy. My waitress was very nice and was knowledgeable of the menu. It’s reasonably priced as well.”

“This new restaurant in the place where the Sycamore Deli used to be is quite good. The sandwiches are outstanding. They take sandwich-making and have seriously upped the game. You can tell whoever is in the kitchen knows what they're doing with flavors and textures. Additionally I had the potato salad with my sandwich. It was quite tasty. It could have been a little more firm. The prices are very reasonable. I cannot wait to go back.”

“I was a little intimidated at first because I had heard that this was a "build your own" type of place, and while I enjoy Mediterranean food, I can't cook it. But I walked in, the employees were super friendly, walked me through the line and explained every option to me. They reassured me that there is no wrong choice, and they were sooo right. I got a bowl, and it was so delicious. The ingredients were so fresh. I will definitely be going back!”

“A great place for a clean green meal in a radiant and lively atmosphere. All staff are with good smiles and always there to meet your needs attentatively. Although I'm not radically engulfed in a whole foods lifestyle and diet, this is definitely is a great place to treat your body to a healthy meal. I love the healthy light fare and the fusion food concept. Moreover, very often you can find one of the owners there hands on and engaging which is a plus. The one I encountered had great energy, was accommodating and appreciative. Great healthy food, comfortable setting, and nice views.”

“I attached this picture of the empty plate because the food was so good I forgot all about getting a before picture. Excellent alternative to waffle house. Atmosphere could be a lot better. Seemed very unorganized, there was breast milk in the fridge where people could see it, in general it felt unclean. Service was quick. Im on the fence for recommending this restaurant may or may not return.”

“Great atmosphere and great music.... the staff is amazing and kind. The calzone combinations sometimes sound weird but totally work. Overall the best late night or day time food in town!!!”

“A nice place for good and cost-effective Chinese food. Items listed on the walls are better than the ones printed on paper menus but are more expensive. Less than $10 to feed your hunger. A very popular eatery among Chinese students at Virginia Tech. Highly recommended.”

“This Restaurant is a fantastic mix of a little town diner, and a proper sit down. Their service was pretty quick for how busy they were during the breakfast rush. I would highly recommend the Red Beans and Rice, as well as the Sausage Gravy, Over their fluffy Biscuits.”

“Very fun and relaxing environment and the young lady that manages Poor Billy's gave me some of the best service, best tasting drinks and good conversation I've had in a long time. Hands down hey 180 degree difference in service and quality then the last time I was there are you okay so looks like you're moving in the right direction. We will be back again”

“A strong dose of real, yacht club night life. Cool blue lighting, and high class bar scene. Bourbon Street theme. The very best in seafood specialties, favorites and surf ‘n turf style entrees. Professional bar and waitstaff. Great drinks, a variety of beer selections - and generally a sophisticated atmosphere. Always a good time had by all who patronize this establishment!”

“Healthy food that tastes good, too. Sitting indoors and out in good weather with a nice friendly vibe. Moderate prices college town atmosphere. Lots of vegan and gluten-free choices. I had grilled tilapia with a pineapple sauce and a kale and carrot salad. Both were delicious.”

“Hadn't been to Rivermill in a while, used to be my favorite bar in the area. They lost a star today because the atmosphere is drastically different from what it used to be, due to the new bartender's choice of rap music, over what used to be played (ie classic rock and the like).”

“A newly opened Chinese noodle restaurant. Had the original beef noodle soup there. The noodle is quite tasty and full of flavor. Beef size and portion are huge. The portion size definitely exceeds the expectation of the inexpensive price (~$8). Overall, this place deserves five stars and I will surely recommend it to my friends. The regular beef rice noodle was okay. Very mild, not spicy. Roasted beef fried noodles are tasty as well but a little too salty. Stay hydrated. 2018-09-20 Updated: rating reduced to four-star: the server at the front desk taking orders was indifferent. No greeting, no words and I could not feel any passion from her about their business. 2019-05-13 Updated: Rating reduced to three stars. The noodle soup quality has decreased appreciably: Previous spicy soups full with flavors have been changed to clear broths mixed with spoonful chili sauce. Luncheon meat slices become much thinner than before. Free oranges are gone. Price increased by $2 averagely.”

“Really cute place to hang out, and plenty of cool hookah flavors to try out. There's definitely a grunge aesthetic to this venue that is part of the experience. The staff is very friendly, and in general people just seem pretty happy to be here. There's often live music happening in the evenings, which may or may not be what you want, but in my experience the bands I've seen play have all been pretty good and sometimes really get everyone grooving together. In general it's a good social scene and a great place to visit on a late night.”
