“As good as any Wendy's can be - but with exceptional staff. The food is to standard and the employees are very, very kind and fun. My grandparents used to go there every week and still do occasionally and the employees know them by face and voice, they have shared stories of what's going on with other employees (stories like children and such, not gossip or private things) and greet them every time they come by. Even when they don't know you I've found they're very kind and try their absolute best to help you in every way that they can and are very fun and friendly while doing so. Highly recommend as a Wendy's establishment.”

The bartenders are knowledgeable, efficient, and super friendly, and they have an awesome selection of wine and cocktails and great snacks! “Me and my wife got there about a quarter to 3. We were busy talking and didn't read the hours sign. Unknown to us the restaurant is closed between 3 and 5. Despite this they served us a lovely lunch. I only wish that I had realized the hours situation sooner so that I could have left a larger tip. Food and service were top notch.”

A bit costly but is a good place to invite guests for a Chinese dinner in the valley. 10/19/2018 Update: The double cooked pork was nearly authentic and I highly recommend it. “2019-06-04 Update: Watch out the Chinese style customized dishes (offered on a separate menu in Chinese). The portions of these dishes are small and the prices are high. No highlight for the taste. 2019-02-13 Update: Tried newly added BBQ. Authentic Chinese style, but the meat could be tenderer. A small place serving home-style American-Chinese cuisines. The quality and the taste of the food there match well with the price. Of course there are other better American-Chinese restaurants to go in Blacksburg, but you get what you paid! Highlight: The owners were pretty friendly and charming.”

“Just passing through and looking for something casual for lunch. Nice, family friendly atmosphere with friendly service and nice lunch. Reasonable prices for a filling meal. The Hot Roast Beef with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy was some of the best roast beef I have had from a roadside diner. The beef was cooked through but retained a great flavor and was quite succulent and tender. The gravy was well seasoned without being over-bearing, while the mash potatoes were home-made and a good consistency. We really enjoyed the meal. Burgers and fries were good, but typical burger and fries. Definitely would consider stopping again, if passing through, to try other menu options, like the pork chop special.”
