Having worked in the restaurant industry for years, I felt like whoever mopped the front of the house, used a greasy back of the house mop. But, everything was delicious. “Very rarely do I leave a review, but this place DESERVES to be reviewed AND visited. Service is extremely friendly and welcoming. As for the tacos...simply WOW!!! Anyone who enjoys a good taco absolutely NEEDS to visit here. Doesn't matter which tacos you get...they are all amazing. I only caution that you use the red salsa sparingly IF you don't like things overly spicy. It definitely caught me by surprise. Not complaining one bit; simply stating that I was NOT prepared. 10 out of 10 WILL VISIT AGAIN!!!”

“I got the vegan tacos and they were delicious! I'm not sure what type of soy meat they use but I really liked it and the rice and beans were seasoned nicely. Great portions and flavor! I'll definitely go back. (plus my skinny margarita was perfect - they did not skimp on the alcohol) Also, our server Dylan was so efficient and nice! We had a really sweet lady make guac at our table and she was so sweet with my baby nephew who couldn't stop watching her. Both servers did an excellent job! All around great atmosphere, food, and service! I'm happy to have a place like this in Ghent.”

“I was with a coworker last night and we couldn't decide where to go. A friend recommended this place so we decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed was that the place was very clean which I appreciate when I am eating on the road. I decided on the chicken tagine and my coworker had a kabob. During ordering we chatted briefly with the owners of the restaurant and realized they are extremely friendly. You got the sense that this was going to be a positive experience. While we were waiting on the order, the owner came out and offered us a free soup which we decided to try. He then joined us at the table and had a bowl of soup with us followed by more conversation. It was fantastic. The food arrives and I immediately see that the portions are fairly large. My order needed two plates! For my side, I had hummus and pita. The pita was fresh and the hummus was incredible with just a small drizzle of olive oil on it and several really nice olives. From there, I started on the main course. The chicken tagine was delicious, cooked perfectly. The sauce was very tasty just the right amount. The saffron rice was done to perfection and great flavor. The eggplant also was delicious. By the time I finished eating, I was stuffed. Overall, this place is fantastic and I would happily eat here again. Pricing was very reasonable but the part that stands out is the quality of the food and service. Fantastic meal and experience.”

“I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mary and Chris to coordinate my Command’s Holiday party. We are a smaller command so we were looking for something that was elegant and could fit all of us for a formal dinner. We had high hopes of making it a night to remember and Soiree DID NOT DISAPPOINT! They absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. Mary and Chris ensured we had everything we needed from the time we started to the time it ended. Their staff was amazing and very accommodating, the bartender kept the drinks flowing all night so everyone definitely had a blast, and the chef made certain that all of the food was out on time and that every item was better than the last. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I will be telling everyone I know that Soiree is the place to be for great food, ambrosial drinks, and an even better atmosphere. 100/10 HANDS DOWN! I look forward to my next night out because I will most definitely be back.”

“My boyfriend and I decided to try out this local place that had been recommended by a few friends for a while now. YNot not only had a wide variety of options, but the staff and management were super friendly! The create your own pasta dish was AWESOME and I totally recommend it! The staff recommended a wine to go with my dish a one of the local brewery's beers for my boyfriend. If you're looking to split an app, we ordered the Cyndi's salad and Burrata Tomato Bruschetta and it was more than enough for the two of us! I did the create your own pasta with tortellini, peas, mushrooms, prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes and Alfredo. Everything came out quickly and was ::chef's kiss:: delicious! They recommended a red wine (can't recall the name) pairing that went perfectly. I still had leftovers! My boyfriend got the Parmesan and veal with a side of the pasta and spicy sauce and he said it was awesome. The local IPA that the waitress recommended paired very nicely. During our meal, one of the managers even came around to check in and see how we were doing. They even wrapped our dessert to go as we were so stuffed from everything else. Overall, all the staff was very friendly, food was awesome and I would highly recommend checking them out!”

“Recently visited for the first time. I sat at the bar and was pleased to discover that I had arrived during happy hour! Great service and my food was delicious. Would like to see a few of the cocktails on the happy hour menu at some point, but overall was a great experience.
