“Been here twice now, and this is definitely one of my new favorite places to eat here in Norton, VA! First time I got the chicken hibachi and a Godzilla roll while my husband had a combination bento box and gyoza. Our second trip we both just got chicken hibachi. The hibachi was fantastic and I would definitely say my favorite! The chicken was tender, had great flavor and the veggies were good. Now the broccoli the first time was a little tough, but second time it was fine. The rice was great! The Godzill roll was fantastic. For note, I've never had a deep fried sushi roll, but the crunch and taste was so good! The gyoza was also a huge hit with my husband, he greatly enjoyed them. The prices are very fair given the portions and quality. Staff have been very courteous and polite both times as well.”

The food is very good I usually get the same thing almost every time, highly recommend the Eagle Plate under the specials. “Recently heard of this little gem and thought I would check them out. Ordered the jumbo cheeseburger and oh my it reminded me of a burger made at home (only bigger, lol). The lettuce, tomato and onion were all very fresh and delicious. I ordered the onion rings as well and honestly thought they were a bit too soggy for me, however, they did have a great flavor. The coleslaw was quite tasty as well, reminded me of my dad's. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and recommend you try them if you are craving a homemade burger.”

“You won't find a better seafood restaurant in this area! It had been a long time since I had last visited Fishtales, but the food was just as good as I remembered. I highly recommend the fried seafood platter. The fried scallops are delicious. The macaroni and cheese is my favorite side, my kids loved it. I believe I will try the crab pot on my next visit.”

But, they are usually out of mild sauce, the line is usually backed up so you may experience a short wait time, and sometimes when at the kiosk to order, if you pull up just past the speaker, they won't answer you because I was told it shows you pulled out or passed it by. “Lots of easy parking. Able to see signs from road, easy to find. A buffet restaurant with salad bar and hot food. Salad bar was nice, but I was unable to order just salad bar. I had to buy entire buffet. $11.50 each for senior dinner. Hot food was comfort food: canned and frozen veggies, meatloaf, fried chicken, egg rolls, fried fish etc.. Lots of breads. You could order steak but we didn't. Pans of sweet desserts and ice cream. Food was hot and place was clean. Waitresses were pleasant. Clean restroom. Noisy with lots of happy families enjoying a night out . Recommended.”
