“I must say, for my first time at any Sheetz, I was impressed compared to my regular pit stop in Petersburg. I filled up my gas tank at 2.24, lowest I saw or comparable. I then went inside, found lottery machine. I used the touchscreen to order a light snack. Instead of burgers, ordered chili dogs combo, included fries and get your drink. I rarely eat hotdogs anymore, they were great. Fries were very thin cut, also good. They also have a seating area that looked clean, took my food out. Order took a little time, but I attributed it to figuring out their system, I will be back, when in town.”

“I'll start off by saying the coffee drink was spectacular. If that was all I got, it would be five stars. I got the bacon and eggs with toast, and tried to get a half portion of oatmeal for my toddler. The food was decent, but the bacon was really greasy. I was also told that they couldn't adjust pricing for a half portion of oatmeal, but they could give me a half bowl at the full price. Really? So I got the full bowl and wasted what we couldn't finish. With the touch screen technology and experience as a server, I find it hard to believe you couldn't just tap an item and mark it half off. There's a way if you really want. I might go back for coffee, but not the food. UPDATE: Brooke, the GM, communicated directly with me after our experience in hopes of earning our business again. “We met our dear friends for dinner at Maria's. They've been there before and liked it. The ambience is very nice. You feel like you are in Italy. I ordered calamari. It was crispy, balanced seasoned, and satisfying. It was serve in a platter good for three people. I have to ask for a doggy bag and took it home for snack. I totally enjoyed my dinner. My friends ordered pasta and shrimps. They serve Italian bread and these are delicious. I will go back again.”
