“Surprise dinner date! I have a friend who loves this place. It was empty when we walked in but it was ok. We had a choice of where to sit, we say outside. Very cozy, quiet, and green. We had salads and then our entrees and fresh, warm bread. It was very good, the server was very polite as well!”

“I love this place for several reasons. First, I Love and respect Spiro for hiring me back in the day when I attended Virginia State University. He fed myself and college roommates when we did not have money and expected nothing in return. He has such a big heart! Secondly, I love this place because of the great food. All meals are made fresh with the finest ingredients which makes for a spectacular menu. The recipes have stayed consistent over the years and all meals are economically priced. “We met our dear friends for dinner at Maria's. They've been there before and liked it. The ambience is very nice. You feel like you are in Italy. I ordered calamari. It was crispy, balanced seasoned, and satisfying. It was serve in a platter good for three people. I have to ask for a doggy bag and took it home for snack. I totally enjoyed my dinner. My friends ordered pasta and shrimps. They serve Italian bread and these are delicious. I will go back again.”

The staff is Super friendly and will get you exactly what you want. They also have fresh made, home made cookies that are baked daily. The smoothies are also very healthy and fresh. It is almost hard to believe healthy, fresh and great taste all meet up at one spot! Give this place a try. If you're just driving through, make the detour, it is worth it! “Everything is made fresh so I understand the extended wait time for food and drinks to come out. Food was great! Our waiter Jermaine was cool. I can tell he was new, or at least new to this restaurant, so I advised my family to be patient with him. However, the cashier was incredibly curt (rude) Which is not a good characteristic to have when dealing with customer service. I don’t know, maybe today just wasn’t her day. Which is cool, we all have our moments. Management should have recognized it, and reassigned her for today. This was my first time here, but I’ll be back. Hopefully next time, I’ll have a better experience dealing with the hostess/cashier.”
