“Nice spot tucked off the side of the road. You will miss them if you’re driving too fast. So here are my thoughts. I ordered the fried fish, Mac and cheese, and greens. The fried fish was cooked perfectly. The greens had a kick but were good. The Mac and cheese, dry dry. My husband had brisket and chicken. The brisket had a lot of fat and he said his chicken had no flavor. The most disappointing part of this, we ordered banana pudding. There were no bananas in the pudding, just pudding and wafers.... I thought it was called banana pudding because bananas are in the pudding.”

“I had been to Quantico to get my uniform tailored at the Marine Shop. I stopped across the street to the Command Post Pub. It has been an icon for years and has changed hands a couple of times. The recent owners are two Korean-American ladies. The food is outstanding. At least my favor is the salad with salmon. Extremely delicious with the vinaigrette dressing. The beer selection is very good. My favorites are the Devils Backbone and Three bears and a goat. Both are Virginia breweries. Overall you will enjoy the Command Post Pub. Highly recommended.”
