“UPDATE: 8/28/2023 Okay, so i definitely believe i caught them on a off day the first time i ordered (forgot to mention their ac was out that day too) but we’ve ordered twice since & the foods amazing. And fish has been clean. The flavors were never lacking, as i said before their sauces are amazing and packed with flavor. The shitto is sooooooo soooo good. And they have the best plaintains I’ve had, so good with their pepper sauces too! I know some people say you cannot mess up plantains but yes you can, this place just has the right texture, and they fry them perfectly. The younger man working in the front was very nice. The wakye is so good, again the sauces are so flavor ful here. I’m going to try it with fish and beef next time as I don’t like the chicken option, it was two thighs fried hard, that’s just not for me, but others may like it. I have not had their soups yet but I am very excited to try the peanut butter soup next visit. As the Attieke and wakye are reallyyyy good, I definitely recommend. ********** first review So i actually liked Lapaz. For now im more on the 3.5 star rating, but didn't want to give them a 3 star so i went with 4. So far I've been twice and got the Attieke first time and then wakye with chicken second time. The service was great, the guy at the front, Although busy was very inviting and pleasant. Now the Attieke i was really pleased with, it comes with a whole baked tilapia. The tilapia was tasty (seasoned well) The sauces the Attieke came with were amazing. All of them! I especially enjoyed the one with the cut up larger pieces of onions in it.and the shitto the blacker sauce Omg. I can eat this with anything. So good And the plaintains were the best plaintains I've actually had in a longggg time. Fried perfectly and just soft and fluffy. The wakye was really good too. I do wish it came with more sauce as the rice it's self didn't have a big flavor to it. (It was good though) And the bigger red sauce went quick (not pictured) . Or maybe I just like a lot of sauce. The chicken was tasteful and also fried with no breading but fried hard so it was a bit tough. They probably should've baked the chicken and fried the fish. Either ways the flavors were there. But again, the sauces and flavors are definitely there Pretty reasonable prices too and you get a good amount of food. I do want to come back and try their peanut butter stew with fufu, and some of the other stews sound & look pretty good too so once i try the stools are pretty much have my mind made up with this place. Overall. I like this place and the owners, they are fairly new and seems small family owned so be nice to them pls as they get things in order.”

“This location just opened and they are still getting their feet under them but you could barely tell!!! Super friendly staff, burgers are amazing (I normally can’t finish a burger of that size but definitely did this time cause it was so delicious), and the atmosphere was chill. I had the single smash and my hubby had the triple. Both were awesome! I loved the greenery wall the built with lounge couches in one of the corners. Super cute! Music was good and it was an all around fantastic experience! We will be back!”

“First, I want to say that the service was great- the managers were very attentive and friendly. He constantly made sure to check on the status of my order and make sure I was comfortable. When I went at 4:00 it wasn’t too busy, but there was a steady flow of customers picking up orders. The food was delightful! Flavorful, a lot of chicken, and the rice was super good! I’m so happy a good halal food place has opened up. Will definitely be returning.”

“Krave Shack is the perfect filling, flavorful, and affordable meal. We got the mix over rice and their burger. Both were freshly made and super tasty. Their smash burger is easily the best burger in the area and the mix over rice was generously portioned with the right amount of white and red sauce. It’s easy to order up front at the register and there’s a lot of seating inside. We also got a plate of fries and their lemonade and iced tea drinks were excellent. Their exceptional Google rating and reviews are true - we will definitely be back!”

“Born and raised in El Salvador! Better believed I know how l like my pupusas! And these were the best ones l had out of all the places in Manassas. even the tomatoe sauce was delicious. I did ask them to warm it up for me, to which they agreed. l had chicharron con queso,revueltas, and the breakfast with sausages. Everything was very tasty, not grease. l felt like l was back home. l recommend. Food came fast, and they also have pupusas de arroz, which they are my favorite. Lastly, they have great customer service. Give them a try, you won't regret it!! 😉”

“Very clean place. Food is made to order so you might want to place your order ahead of time. Especially if you're on lunch. The food is hot and fresh. Not too greasy or taste like old grease was used. I had chicken wings and fries. Wings were a nice size and SEASONED!! Absolutely awesome. No sauce or extra seasoning was needed.. A small side of Old bay would have been perfect but not needed. They offered a bit of sweet n sour or may have been mambo sauce. Not bad but the wings stood on their own. Fries were crispy and a nice size portion. Its a little pricey but whats not these days.. Only bad thing is this place is small and will get popular quick. Once that happens I can see the wait being crazy long. The service was great, very friendly.”

“First, let me say that this place is immaculate! You can literally eat off the floors. Decor is nice, sparse but tasteful. The staff is over the top helpful and attentive and quite helpful without being obtrusive. The menu is varied with a strong emphasis on traditional Korean fare. Portions are very generous with one dish usually being enough for two to share. But, you're going to want to sample a few dishes and take some home with you! We had #15. JJA JANG MYUM, a noodle dish with black bean sauce, a side of Kimchi and pickled radishes. It was amazng!! We also had #22 HA MUL JANG BAN JJA JANG, a similar dish with a variety of seafoods and garnishes. It was not only delicious, it was HUGE! And, for once, the actual dishes look very much like their menu items! At first, prices appear to be moderate. But given the portion sizes, they are quite the bargain. We'll be back!!”

“Friendly environment. Got to meet who I believe was the owner. Very friendly. Food was DELICIOUS! I ordered 3 chicken tamales, a chicken quesadilla and of course I couldn’t forget the horchata! All together came to $19 and some change! Not bad at all! Definitely will be back! ***UPDATE*** - went back for round 2! This time we got carne asada and pollo loco which is chicken and shrimp! Both plates came with a side of refried beans, salad and fresh made tortillas! You can most definitely tell you hey take their time preparing the food! They have a loyal customer!”

A friend brought me an empanada from here and I had to make the 30 minutes drive, the next day. . .on a lazy Saturday. . . to pick up some more. 😂 It’s mostly an Order to Go place but there are a a couple of tables for waiting or dining in, which we did. You can sense the anticipation of people coming in to pick up their orders. Staff were friendly and working hard! “I heard about Anita’s before, but never had chance to visit any of their locations around Northern Virginia. However, now when it’s only 5 minutes away from home, we had to give them a shot. Staff and food were great. I had my usual fajitas and my brother in law a burrito bowl and for appetizers, their Mexican style pizza. Everything was tasty and meat was cooked as expected. Nice place to have around for each time of the day!!”

“My family tried this place on a whim and had a great experience. Our waitress was very nice and service was quick. The manager made an effort to check in on us twice and make sure we were well taken care of. Our dishes were delicious and portions were very generous. The fried catfish came with 2 slabs of fish, fries, and salad which was great for the price. I had the devil shrimp and have no complaints. Oddly enough, the rice stole the show and it was quite fragrant and had a ton of flavor. The restaurant itself is very clean and newly constructed. TVs make it a good choice to catch local sports. We will be coming back again and hope to snag some of the other dishes as takeout as well.”

“A quaint establishment, very true in Greek tradition as far as the food and wines. The taste of the items consumed was top tier and could not have been better. The presentation of the meal items was 5 star. The price was reasonable and, though small in size, the atmosphere and environment was quite inviting. The owner of the establishment was extremely knowledgeable and about as nice a person as you'd be lucky enough to ever meet. His labor and heart are truly dedicated to providing the best experience for his customers, and it was evident to me and my party. Great food and a great job providing us with some of the best Greek fare I've ever had. Well done and we will be back!”
