Service was great. Food was great and they are doing the best they can to accomodate patrons during COVID.

We tried the calamari appetizer and the veal appetizer on special. Both were delicious. Then we tried the quail and stuffed ravioli dinners. Both were delicious. Very laid back atmosphere with an amazing selection of wine to choose from. The server was great and he explained everything perfectly!

Lovely restaurant with multiple cozy spaces for dining. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. We had the wine dinner and we were not disappointed. The servings were large and every bite was delicious. We were dressed for a casual concert at The National and it wasn't an issue. We'll be back for sure! Thanks!

La Grotta was recommended to us by a friend and boy are we glad that did. This is the quintessential Italian date night restaurant. Great wine, pasta, and bread. We had the ravioli with ricotta and spinach and a fettuccine with creamy tomato sauce. Both were so creamy and delicious, despite being full we ended up eating all of the food! It was a great meal and we will be back if we are ever back in Richmond.

Upscale Italian restaurant in downtown Richmond, located at the neighbor of Hilton. You can use the parking lot on either side of the restaurant (remember to pay).

The restaurant is suitable for dinning from two to the group of around 40. You can choose 3, 4 or 5 dishes or just select your entree. I’ve tried seafood, beef and chicken, all are cooked with great texture and flavor. Different wine choices. The dessert is the best I’ve ever had in Richmond. Chef is from Italy.

Waiters and waitresses are professional. They tried to understand your need and give helpful suggestions.

Reservation is recommended, especially if you have a big group or you are to take dinner. They have a view of the Broad Street.
