The food was very tasty. The waiter was very pleasant. The greeting by the waitress was horrible. It was cold and rainy outside on the day of my visit. There were 4 tables occupied upon arrival socially distanced. In the 1.5 hours there my party was the only party told we had to wait outside for 15 minutes while they sanitized one of the other 10 tables available. I complied at first because that is who I am but then I thought about it logically. Why should we have to wait outside in the cold rain? Why didn't the waitress make anyone else wait outside? I listened to every greeting while I was there because I felt she was being biased. The menu says eggs your way but when I order scrambled hard with cheese I was charged for cheese. Cheese on grits charged. Signature syrups charge. It would not have bothered me if the charges were explained prior to placing the order. Three people costs me $70 for brunch. Two doors down were mimosas fir $5 chicken and waffles for $5 but I supported Maple Bourbon because it was a black owned business. Definitely need to invest in customer service training for employees. When I return again I will definitely patronize to go because the food was very good.
