“I usually avoid businesses without reviews, but I've been waiting for this place to open for a while now and had to try it. When I stopped by I had missed lunch hours, but I was able to see inside and it looked really cute and well organized. But I was able to get delivery for dinner. I got seaweed salad, some noodles for my son, and the Hibachi Shrimp plate to split. The food was very fresh and I loved the diversity of veggies with my meal. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and were super tasty. Definitely an improvement on most fast Hibachi places I know. Portions very sizable and great price point. I definitely will be ordering again and glad to have a Japanese eatery in the Cave Spring area.”

“I am still thinking about this awesome food truck. My son’s job had this a special treat last Saturday and had Ken & Jayne's Burgers & Dogs serving lunch to team members working that shift lunch. And my wonderful Chef Desmond (my son) saved his burger to share with me and he knows the whole Family are all food critics…. So, the first bite was mine and that burger was so delicious I went and got a beef hotdog with chili and I made some yummy chili but I have to say the chili is A1+ and the service was top notch!! Thank you!”

“The service from the staff was unbelievable. They were extremely nice from helping while ordering our food to when we picked it up. Even saw that we had stopped and helped an elderly individual who had fallen and remade our order! That's customer service. The food was good. We tried a little bit of everything, and our favorite was probably the meatball sandwich.”

“We had a good experience when we came here. Food came out quick (it wasn't super busy at the time) and the portions were great. The small pho bowl is enough for a regular appetite while a large bowl would probably be a better size for two people to share (unless you typically have a big appetite). You can choose your ingredients for the pho and there are other non-pho options of food as well. You order by getting a sheet and taking it to your table, then once you check what you want a server will take it from you. Not a lot of seating and one unisex bathroom. “First time I have stopped here. Went through the drive thru. The young man taking my order had a bit of trouble and I had to repeat my order 3-4 times and then I still had a small drink when I ordered large( was only charged for small) the potatoes with gravy were on point. Delicious. The blackened chicken sandwich well the flavor was good but the chicken was a bit chewy. It had been overcooked a bit and was a more like chicken jerky that a chicken sandwich. I know they have just opened with new staff and they are trying to get it together so I will definitely give them another go. I didn’t really wait long at the drive thru and the people waiting on me were very polite.”

“The owner uses good quality hot dogs. The cashier was his son who is very well mannered and friendly. I got the Long Island dog. The caramelized onions on it were a big hit for me. The guy told me he put a home made chili powder in them which made the hot dog. I hope they are selling outside lowes on challenger ave next time I’m there”

“So good I ate one before getting a picture. Lol. Tacos Al Pastor we're delicious. Rice and beans were good. I normally don't eat the beans, but these were good. Very nice staff. We got ours to go. Nice place. Very clean. Will definitely be going back! Edit: Went back for a delicious breakfast burrito today. They are so nice! I got there right at 7am. They just started doing breakfast yesterday. I ordered a Chorizo breakfast burrito. It was really good. Their card reader was down, so the owner just let me go and asked that I come back another time to pay for it. How awesome! I didn't have cash on me, so this was a nice surprise for my morning! I really like this place! He let me know that they're waiting on their ABC license as well...so they'll have beer soon!! The pic of store hours is their standard hours. They're trialing the breakfast hours, and open at 7am on weekdays now.”

“A good place to eat and enjoy a meal. The thin crust pizza was a refreshing change from the other pizza chains to hat use thick crust. Only complaint is that it took a while to place order due to long line. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to try a more contemporary take on pizza in the Roanoke area”

“Burger on the Square has a convenient location on Brambleton Ave, with some wait to get back into Brambleton traffic at busy times of the day. I placed a pick up order by phone, and the order was ready and hot upon my arrival. The chilli for the taco salad was outstanding, not too spicy and very flavorful. The salad items were crisp and fresh. The pulled pork was also delicious, but the "on the side" sweet BBQ sauce was not included. The hush puppies were good, and butter was included. The baked beans were average, with no additions to enhance the flavor out of the can. Very personable and friendly staff, I recommend Burger for pick up or a quick bite. There is ample seating in a pleasant atmosphere for dining. Wheelchair accessible entrance, but I don't know about accessibility in the restrooms. Good place for children or family dining. Prices are reasonable.”

“I took the wife and daughter to this little restaurant for the first time today. Erica was wonderful. She carefully explained the menu, which was decorated with Burger varieties we had never tried. We ended up getting an ultimate cheddar cheeseburger, fungus amongst us, and a cheddar bacon. The burgers were huge and delicious. The fries were perfectly cooked. Everything right down to the sauces were handmade and the burgers were made to order on the grill in front of us. I would highly recommend this restaurant.”
