First time there, and it was pretty good! Shrimp quesadilla was definitely full and loaded with shrimp. Rice was delicious. I felt it was somewhat overpriced considering we had to pay for chips and salsa too. Could be somewhat cleaner. I’ll take this over el rodeo but I still prefer Alejandro’s.

Underappreciated spot with authentic Mexican food. This place has the look and feel of a small grocery store which, in part, it is. But it is also a small restaurant and oh, mercy!, their traditional dishes are the best in Roanoke. By a wide margin. I had two beef enchiladas with rice and beans. The rice has a different flavor than I'm used to, but was still tasty. My partner had the Saturday beef burrito special. It'll feed two easily and was wonderful without being too spicy. They're homemade red and green sauces speak for themselves. Literally. Take a break from the usual and try Tacos Rojas!

The food is so good here. The service is good if you're the only one there, but when it gets busy it might take longer than expected. The prices have gone up a few times, but I still eat here because the food is so good. Go on a Saturday for the lunch special, Paco's burrito. If you don't want a special, get the steak tacos. The hot sauce is great, but not for those who don't like spicy.

Surprisingly good. This was obviously a convenience store once upon a time that has been converted to a restaurant. The food was priced right in line with most other Mexican restaurants in our area, but the portion size was much more than any restaurant that I've been to in the Roanoke area. My boyfriend and I both had the Saturday lunch specials, blonde was chicken, his was beef, and they were HUGE and tasted great! We also ordered tamales as size items, and they also tasted good.
    Great little hidden gem!

This is a hidden gem. The food was authentic and tasted great. We will definitely be back. I had the shrimp tacos and they give you a nice amount of shrimp in each taco. I seen a taco salad that someone ordered and it looked delicious, also a couple of boys came in and ordered the chicken and beef nachos (a mountain of food)..I can't wait to try them. This is one of those hole-in-wall places and it was well worth it.
