“This is one of my favorite places to go in downtown Suffolk. Their food is always fresh and I like that you can eat in our take out. Some Asian restaurants that are technically dine in seem dingy but Sakura is bright and inviting. I always get their Tokyo roll sushi and teriyaki chicken. Their ???? sushi is cheap but tastes fresh. I recommend going if you are looking for a quick, inexpensive and non-fast food place to eat in South Suffolk.”

“My cycling fellowship and I came here after a ride-event for some hard-earned chow. We came for the brisket but ended up falling hard for the pork barbecue! It was perfectly done. Both sauces on the table (sweet and mahogany) were quite nice, but a mixture of both sent that pork singing! Wonderful chow stop, and with some of the coolest, most attentive wait-staff we have ever experienced. Awesome time!”

“I absolutely love this sonic!! Carhops are super nice and the drive thru is normally up to par as well. Yes there has been sometimes the time it took for my food could be a little better but honestly no complaints. I have worked fast food and I 100% understand sometimes it might take a little time but 10minutes is not that bad for the fresh made to order hot yummy food! I’ve had one mistake with my order partially my fault I forgot to tell them when I ordered I wanted fries instead of tots but when I say these managers are exceptional I mean it! Fixed right on the spot no questions asked! Always greeted with a smiling face and I always leave happy and satisfied with a full belly of food 10/10 would eat at this location again!”

“Had lunch there recently and, while I thought the food tasted great, it was priced too high. I ordered the roast beef sandwich...it was $6.99. This is what I got (but double it, so two halves). Not including the fries bc they were an extra $1.89. The hush puppies and roll were nice but they came as appetizers while waiting for our meal, which was fine. But I felt that two slices of roast beef on white bread, alone, was a meager offering for seven dollars plus tax. Even the lettuce was 50¢ extra. In all fairness, the waitress did say that "they put on a couple of slices" when I asked how much beef was on it, but I gave it a shot anyway, for fun. She wasn't kidding about the amount. I will be ordering something else next time I visit. Bottom line: prices are questionable but food is tasty.”

I consider myself to be a sub connoisseur. Jimmy John’s is killing the competition with their French bread, I have tried all the major chains Jimmy John’s is my favorite. My only suggestion would be to throw in free side items like chips or cookies when the order is over a certain amount.”
