“It was simply decent. I didn't want fastfood so I came here. Our server was nice...however she never checked back to see if our food was prepared properly...I asked for a medium steak and it was well done...a huge difference. Our drinks were never refilled...thankfully we drank slow. My mom didn't like her choice so we had it redone and boxed to go...the wait staff/hostess were very nice but the actual service could use more effort.”

“Clean, bright & friendly. Lots of tvs. We only had the Hawaiian pizza, so can only judge from that.. nothing that will knock your socks off but will suffice if you're hungry & in a pizza mood. Small side salad was pretty large.”

“Overall, I like this location, today was the first time I've had a negative experience. It's a newer location with clean facilities and usually good food. Tonight caused me to dock a star from from what would have been a full rating. They claimed the fryer to be broken. A corporate bldg.with new equipment? That doesn't make sense. We then needed to restructure our order, no biggie. Fast forward 5 minutes to eating it at home. The burritos and tacos were fine. The Mexican pizza however was not tasty. I give them credit for making it to order (no beans, no tomatoes, add nacho cheese). There's a sauce that goes on top..a tomato one. It was burned and bitter. Someone would have over cooked it and scooped from the crusty edge to get that flavor. The crew tonight did not want to work and their customers suffered for it. Again, I've never had an issue with this location until tonight and I WILL be back...just not after work on a Monday. (Photo: Sauce on Right)”

“Suffolk store is great. Be careful on the curb. I ruined my front rim. And if you look, I'm one of hundreds! The food is great and the staff is wonderful. Just put the poles out before the curb!!! For real. I'm walking in !!”

“Love Love Wawa, mac and cheese awesome. Quick gas. Air when its not broken. Love their smoothies and sandwiches. Awesome food all around. As long as you don't go during busy times, lines and wait can be long and sometimes run out of certain food items. Near hospital and multiple businesses. Should be better prepared during busier times but Just have to be patient. Medical personnel and business people have to eat too!”

“Service and Burger were excellent. The fries were a little old. Had the fries been hot and fresh, I would have given a five.”

“Now, I could be a bit biased but Rodman's defines good barbecue. My family has deep roots in the Tidewater area but I grew up in Michigan, visiting my grandparents in the summer. One of the highlights was always Rodman's. Growing up in Michigan there was nothing like it anywhere else. I still remember the first time I had it and how unlike the red, sauce slathered mess I had experienced up north it was. I am ashamed to say that at 5 years old I put ketchup on my sandwich to make it more familiar. Now, at over 40, I know better. Their sweet cider vinegar sauce is perfection itself. Rodman's roasts whole hogs in semi open pits. They have dozens of them in their facility. My grandfather took me there one magical afternoon. I was very young but I remember the brick pits and watching the kitchen staff chop and mix bbq by hand on a massive steel table. I have no idea if they still do it that way but it tastes the same. Rodman's has perfected the art of what is known as the Eastern North Carolina style. For the uninitiated, this style is radically different than the more widely known Kansas City, Memphis, or Texas styles. If you walk in expecting the heavily smoked and sauced meats that come from those regions you will like my five year old self, be baffled by the subtle mysteries of Tidewater Barbecue. For starters this style of cooking is old. The meat is roasted on an open pit. This means the smokey flavor is more subtle because the smoke is not confined to a smoke chamber as in other styles. The sauce is vinegar with sugar and salt. This is literally applied with a mop to keep the meat cool while roasting. Red and black pepper were added to the style later. I love Rodman's for everything it is not. It is not a mainstream over-smoked, over-spiced, over sauced mockery of this ancient culinary technique. It is beautifully subtle, and honors both traditions and the hogs themselves. Their barbecue tastes like pork. I wouldn't have it any other way.”

“The all-beef hot dog was the real thing, cooked as I remember hot dogs growing up in NYC. The hot smoked sausage was spicy...Yum! FF crispy. No frills, just great eats, though the coleslaw wasn't my cup of tea. Highly recommended!”

“Best pizza I have ever had! My husband and I order the specialty pizza “atlas” we always add chicken. Honestly it’s all hands down the only place we eat pizza anymore. Greek salad is amazing as well as the garlic knots! Don’t miss out! Plus they are the only place that delivers to us off crittenden rd!”

“I would say without a doubt, that this is the best out of the 15 or so Japanese restaurants we've been to around the area. -The staff are happy and helpful. -The booth seating was quite novel in the way it appeared to be a floor level table with the surrounding bench and seat cushions. -Our soups were created from actual fresh ingredients, they were full of flavor despite lacking the intense amount of salt and/or pepper that lesser places flood their soups with to imitate flavor. -The Hibachi steak we ordered came exactly medium-rare as ordered. The vegetables were delicious, as was the rice. The white sauce was thick enough to stick to the meat and provided a nice flavor. The amount of steak we received was a pleasant surprise, plenty for two to share one plate. -Despite ordering 30 minutes or so before closing, we received an exceptional meal without even the hint of a complaint from the staff as we left 15 minutes after closing. We will exclusively return to this restaurant in the foreseeable future for all of our Japanese food cravings.”

“Chris got our food delivered quickly, and neatly. We ordered 4 pizzas and wings. All of the pizzas had the exact toppings we ordered, no mistakes. They were delivered piping hot! Chris also brought all the condiments ranch dressing, blue cheese, parmesan cheese, crushed peppers, napkins, and plates; he did not forget anyting ???? To top it off he was supper friendly and patient.”

“Service is always pleasant and attentive. I usually enjoy the chicken pad thai. It tends to be on the spicy side, so be careful when you order. I like spice but not so much that you cant enjoy it. The last time it was a little fish flavor forward. Which, I understand, is more tradional but I prefer layers of flavor, not one over- powering the other.”

“Good little course. They are now keeping second cut low enough so you can find your ball. Greens are a little damaged from all those welfare geese who poop on them and won't migrate back north and lazy golfers who don't fix divots. Sand bunkers are pretty good but a little bit hard on some. Putting green is damaged probably from transmission oil. Overall the course is nice. I like it.”

“It's my go to place for dinner on the go. Get sick of the same old burgers or tacos. Always good! My only con is the portion size of the sides that come with the tailgate specials. I always have to buy 2 extra sides, just to have enough to serve 4 people. Otherwise no complaints.”

“Went for dinner last evening. My wife had previously visited and loved the place. I have to agree. The food is great and we had very good service. One minor ding. The tables need to be wiped clean faster. We were there at 6:00PM. I could not find a table that had been cleaned since the previous customers. Otherwise, the staff seemed to be on it. We will be back!”

“5 stars is for the food being delicious, my husband said it was the best meatball sub he's ever had, there was so much cheese on the thing it was oozing everywhere in the best way possible. My biggest complaint is the customer service at the register. My husband read online that kids got M&Ms with the kids meal, the girl said they were out of tokens but I could put a quarter in it if I wanted some (I never carry any money) ended up buying the cookie for my daughter's after dinner treat instead of getting M&Ms that should have come with it. She also could have saved the hassle of me asking after I got my food where to get the kids drink, like when I was paying for it. don't forget your kids drink, or did you grab your kids drink? They are right over there! Would have been nice for someone who's not a regular and doesn't know how it works. She could have been a bit more personal. The guy making the subs was super nice and helpful. Other than that, the food here is spectacular. Make the register service a little better and Wich Wich can take my money on a regular basis.”

“We waited 40 minutes for our pizza when the line was almost at the entrance door, pretty ridiculous in my opinion. They need to consider ways to make the process faster like putting more pizzas in the oven at one time or more employees on the service line. Pizza itself was fantastic, absolutely delicious and flavorful. Like the thin crust and perfectly cooked. Would go back during off meal times only.”

“Great friendly, organized environment greeted and seated immediately by the host at the door! Then my visit just got better and better from there! There is tons to choose from on the easy to read menu and one of their friendly and knowledgeable servers will explain it all if you're a first-timer like myself, but I guarantee it won't be my last visit! So, thanks "Village Inn" for the variety of options and fresh, yummy, great tasting food and great quick service..this place is the total package! 5 stars to my server Ramon!!!”

“Love Zaxby's!! I'm used to seeing them in deeper parts of the south, but was very happy to stumble upon this one as they're few and far between here in VA. Really good food, in fact I like them way better than Chick-fil-A. Just my taste, I suppose. They're every bit as friendly, prompt and they've never messed up an order of mine.”

“This restaurant is ok to me, it mostly depends on who is taking your order wither you get great customer service, or just give me your money and get out of here service. The food is alright, kinda spicey to me, they put more peppers in there Chinese food. They can't afford to give half hearted service, due to the shrimp shack, food lion, and other eateries are next to them, I hope you choose the right day to visit.”

“What a cute little restaurant. We decided to stop in the other day for lunch because we wanted to try somewhere we had never been before and we were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't busy so there was no wait, the cashier was very friendly and our food came out promptly. We both had subs and a house salad, the food isn't mind blowing but it is good for what it is. I want to go back to try their pizza as I have heard good things.”

“My favorite place to get a quick seafood meal. Great portions and always cooked perfectly. Customer service is always on point. No matter how busy they always greet with a smile and have a professional attitude. This is consistent across all the local branches. I think I've tried them all, Harbor View Suffolk, New Market Newport News, Great Bridge Chesapeake and Military Hwy Norfolk.”
