I enjoy the food and the atmosphere. I've only been here twice and tried two different meals, which were good, but the fingerling potatoes are a definite A+. Look forward to trying other dishes.

Hands down the best restaurant in Virginia Beach. I’ve ordered almost everything on their menu and it’s all amazing. The pastrami sandwich is out of this world. Great beer selection too!!

Had my very 1st Clayton's experience today...and I was beyond pleased! The food is AMAZING, super fresh and perfect seasoned. The Crab Cake sandwich was by far the best I have had in VB by far and I've been here all my life. If you haven't been...you most definitely should stop by! Happy hour, food specials and and Amazing staff with awesome customer service! LOVED IT! 😍

This is a family owned restaurant…a most beautiful and loving family. I can hardly wait to go back and see them. Great brisket and Reuben sandwiches as well. I’ve only tried their Pastrami and most recently their Reuben. They smoke their own meats, bake bread, and make homemade pickles. I’m very glad that I asked for a pickle, 1 little cup of grain mustard, and a little cup of their Thousand Islands dressing used in the Reuben because there was almost no sauerkraut on it and I love the entire sandwich to be moist. The next time I’ll definitely ask for extra sauerkraut. Love the food, family, and atmosphere! I highly recommend Clayton’s Counter and look forward to returning soon and often. Hope to become an honorary part of their lovable family.

Just wanted to give a shout out to these guys, they catered my moms celebration of life today, and the spread was just amazing. Ralph and his wife got back to me on there day off, and with little notice, were able to deliver some of the best eats in all of Virginia Beach. If you have not checked these guys out, go do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal, or try them for your next catering needs!
