Surf Rider Restaurant

Best little restaurant away from the oceanfront. My mom had the clam stripes and they were the most tender she has ever had. Great prices, nice portions. Will stop by everytime we head to the beach.

Food is delicious. Service is the best. This place is a good, down home restaurant. A favorite of mine for sure.

Luckily, we live within walking distance of Surf Rider. We went for my birthday last week and I had the 'lunch sized' fried oysters with she crab special, garden salad, and she crab soup split with my boyfriend. The she crab was simply amazing with plenty of huge chunks of delicate crab. I was surprised that we could actually taste the sherry in this rendition. The oysters were cooked perfectly - tender and juicy with very light breading that didn't 'swallow' or overpower the oyster. They ladled a bit of she crab over the oysters which made for an excellent presentation and even better taste. Large chunks of that delicious crab were much appreciated. I've never had them prepared that way before, but am already craving more, more, more.

Great food and excellent service from Simone. Just two of us and tab was almost $100, including bar and two appetizers. We took nearly half home. She crab soup was amazing!! Here on vacation but will be back.
