Rudee's Restaurant and Cabana Bar

This was a nice summer date. I was nervous that it would be overrun with tourists but we got there around 1500 or 1530 and we seemed to just beat the beginning of the rush. It was cute without being too kitschy. The staff are mostly young but friendly. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich (delicious) and the pineapple mule (tropical mule?) and it was interesting in a positive way. Husband and I split some hush puppies as well and they were great. Next time I'd sit outdoors.

We came here to meet family. The atmosphere was great. Service was very good and the food was fantastic. Parking can be very challenging if you choose not to use the valet parking. I don't like driving distances just to go to a restaurant but I may make an exception for Rudee's.

I had dinner here with a party of 9, we had a good time. Valet parking was great. We asked if we could sit in the gliders but we were denied because they apparently only sit parties of four or less. They proceeded to allow a party of 8 to sit in the gliders right next to us... Besides that, the food and service was great. My friend loved her backfin burger.

This place exceeded my expectations. I got the blackened tuna burrito and it was excellent. The tuna was cooked perfectly and everything tasted very fresh. My son got shrimp scampi and he said it was the best thing he's ever eaten. An added bonus that the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
