“There is this sweet woman who works third shift in the food station. She has cute braids and wears a really pretty lip gloss. I found out my auntie died the night before and was on the verge of a mental breakdown, I could barely walk in that store, without breaking down. She greeted me with a warm smile and made the best French fries. She ALWAYS makes ALL the food fresh but this time, she really cheered me up and made me not want to break down crying in the parking lot, like I was about to do. Thank you for always being so kind to me. You really made my terrible night, ten times better. Just for showing me kindness and always being so kind. I know I have terrible anxiety and can barely talk to people without stuttering or my hands shaking but she never causes me to have anxiety. The sweet woman with blonde hair, in a bun working third shift as cashier for main store, was so kind as well. I'm so floored at the kindness of the staff members. Thank you so much.”

“This 711 is normally great. They have the best coffee out of the 711s in town because they still use the old school pots. The other ones use the insualted dispensers which never get cleaned properly and the coffee's taste is affected. However, I'm really disappointed with the last interaction I just had with the new cashier Brooklyn. She was so rude and not friendly or customer-service oriented in any way. I got no "hello" "how are you" "thanks" "have a great day" NOTHING. She didn't even tell me my total she just stood there and stared at me. Don't hire people that have no customer service skills, it really kills your business. Usually the cashiers there are nice but not her.”

“This 7-11 served me the best taquitos that I have ever had. I LOVE 7-11 taquitos but most of the time I get them they are super dry on the outside and cold on the inside. I usually wait until I get home and pop them in the oven to heat them up. I have bought them from probably 30 different 7-11s and almost always have this problem. Not at this location though, they were HOT and crispy but not dry, literally perfect. Didn’t even make it home. Thank you!”

“We stopped here on the way back from Virginia Beach for a bathroom break. The bathrooms were in the back and hard to get to because a bunch of stuff was stacked in front of the doors. They were dirty but it was nice to at least be able to use them. It was a typical 7 Eleven with the usual items and food. Of course a Big Gulp is refreshing and the Nachos and hot dogs are nostalgic.”

“We needed 2 chicken breasts for our travel-weary pooches. The young lady at the cashier's window was a breath of fresh air. Very friendly, sincere, and accommodating. (Not your run-of-the-mill grumpy face we've become accustomed to in the fast-food industry) The parking lot and landscaping were pristine. What a bright spot in our 900 mile trip!”

“Daily Grind in Front Royal has a great selection drink and food items including many gluten free items which is really what brings us in. I do not like to put syrup in my coffee; I prefer to use natural sweeteners such as a small bit of real honey. Yesterday I ordered a decaf cold brew with real honey and whole milk. The employee put in honey syrup which is far sweeter and has a different taste. I asked if I could get the drink as I ordered it or just receive my money back and the girl at the cash register told me no, that they had made it as I ordered it so I couldn’t have the drink remade or receive my money back. She told me that honey syrup is the same thing as honey which it is not. It differs in both taste and consistency. I told her this and she begrudgingly remade my coffee. I witnessed another person ask that they remove the ice from her drink ad it would melt in the heat. She was very apologetic and polite and the employees gave her a similar attitude. It seems clear that the girls have no stake in the business or they would not be treating customers with disdain. I might be old fashioned but I would never imply that a customer is wrong or being annoying unless it was there was an exceptional reason for it. Other than my awkward interaction yesterday, my experience with the Daily Grind has been slightly above average.”

“Stopped here before heading out to our camp in Shenandoah valley. The staff was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was excellent. They had the touch screen ordering station, which I hadn't seen before so that was pretty cool to use. Will definitely stop here the next time we are going to Shenandoah Valley.”
