Berret's Seafood Restaurant & Taphouse Grill

We trusted Google to find a seafood place and it didn't disappoint!

Burger was amazing, Crab cake was off the charts! Within walking distance from the Colonial Williamsburg Art Museum, which saved us time. Fries were great (overcooked a bit), and the server was amazing!! Our best dining experience out of all the restaurants we visited while here.

The happy hour was awesome! Got a free fancy beer glass with my first beer (had to be one of a specific list of beers). The food was really good too, especially the flat breads. Its also really close to the market square bus stop. Highly recommended

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER & OUTSTANDING FOOD! I can honestly say this was the best meal we've ever had. Christian was our server and he made our evening extra special with awesome personal attention. He exceeded our expectations in every way. The food literally melted in our mouths. The next time we're in Virginia, we're stopping by for another meal.

Oysters were good. Could have been shucked better. Wait staff seemed annoyed by us. We asked to sit outside and they placed us in the breezeway behind the bar, I think because we had a baby with us. Seemed like the worst place. There were other tables open with good outside views so we asked politely to move. And they obliged. The waitress seemed very accommodating to her other tables but rarely came to ours. I would not go back.

Their $1 oysters are always on point. I have never gotten sick from any of their shell fish. I always enjoy their happy hours and all of the meals I've had here. Customer service is great. Always busy, always fun, always inviting. They have set up out door games like corn hole (etc.,) for any customer to enjoy.
