It’s about time a rock solid brewery descended on the ‘burg. Dank IPAs, sours and much more. The staff are really cool and knowledgeable. Wide open space inside and brick patio with a gas fire pit outside make this brewery very comfortable. The brewer(s) know their craft. Kind of reminds me a little of The Veil a few miles east of Richmond.
We came on Saturday evening and there was a folk band playing. Not me usual choice if music, but it was pretty good. Was a little loud, so you end up having to yell to have a conversation.
I sampled a wine and two beers. Unfortunately, nothing suited my taste. However, my husband did enjoy his drinks. I will say I was a big fan of the nachos.
The beer was pretty good and I liked the beer garden/hall atmosphere. I wish I could stay long enough for the arcade games.
Tacos looked good, but expensive for the size. Ended up going somewhere else for dinner.
I never write these but yesterday My husband and I came in for beer and tacos and had such a wonderful time! Our Bartender Tim was AWESOME! He found a beer that we would both like (Vary different tastes) just from asking what style we like. We have never had an experience like this before and had to share how much we enjoyed it!
What an AMAZING brewery! My husband and I come to Williamsburg annually and really enjoy this area, and what it has to offer. This place is the exact addition this area needed. The beer (and cider) were awesome. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate how clean and beautiful this place was, how nice and helpful the staff was- and the tacos.. WOW! Best I’ve had in a long time. We came three times and were sad to leave VA because of how much we enjoyed every aspect of this place.. even the games! To anyone that has made rude comments about “the 5 dollar cover” being because they aren’t confident in their product, you should probably have the correct information before you bash a place. The small 5 dollar cover is for live bands... which we also had the pleasure of enjoying. Keep doing what you’re doing precarious! Well, well done.
