“Good fresh sandwiches and lunch deals. Downside is no soup for the summer, only fruit. Bring back summer soups, it's always a good hit. Pasta side has too much Italian dressing and was soggy. May try salad next visit.”

“The food was great! I went in for lunch and the lunch prices are very good and reasonable. I had 3 tacos with rice and beans for $4.99. You could pick any meat you wanted for your tacos. You didn't have to have the same meat in all three, but I did. I picked the Birria(shredded beef). It was wonderful. The tacos were smaller than what I usually get in a 'mexican' restaurant, but they were advertising being authentic mexican food. The tacos were on fresh corn tortillas, they weren't the crunchy kind. I prefer the fresh corn tortillas. I will go back there again to try the other items on the menu.”

“Really enjoyed eating here. Owner is kind and does a lot of work himself there, so we were patient while waiting to be serviced and to pay. Great tasting pho. And excellent hot pepper sauce, the best I've had, he brought to our table upon request.”

“Good stuff, locally made and good vibes. I think they should have a kiddie size option but overall the staff is amazing and the baked goodies are perfection. Location is in the heart of the charming downtown. The girls went with the cookies and cream and cherrie's I think. We will come back and enjoy it again”

“From our hostess, to waitress, to our food the experience was awesome!! Our waitress has the best smile ever. I believe her name was Abigail. Our food was fresh hot and delicious the serving sizes were abundant. George's is a place to have a nice peaceful relaxing meal, it is not overpriced and it is not fancy fancy that your everyday person couldn't go in and enjoy a meal.”

“A local landmark, famous for sliders. Delicious sliders cooked with bits of onions. Two deluxe sliders with tater tots and a root beer was a little pricey (maybe $20 with tip included), but it's worth it! Plus the location is great, and that section of Winchester is a must for tourists.”

“The food was delicious. The portions were perfect. The service was slow. It took forever to get seated and to be waited on and then to even place our order. We sat for 5-8 minutes before the waitress came to greet us. It took longer in between drinks and placing our order. They weren’t that busy at 1:30-2 in the afternoon. We had 8 and a high chair. The hostess says they have a high top available. I said does your high chairs reach the high top (knowing it didn’t and wanting a different table) she said I can put two together to make it taller. Really?! I said you don’t have any other tables? No. Literally tables open all over. You may be trying to keep all in one area but if you’re trying to accommodate a large party shouldn’t you, I don’t know..accommodate us. Prices were reasonable.”

“One of my favorite restaurants anywhere. I grew up going here for almost every special occasion. I have never had a meal here I wasn’t exceptionally happy with. Their food is better than much more expensive restaurants I have been to. I no longer live in the area but I make a point of eating here when I visit.”

“Little local business making excellent bagel sandwiches and coffee. Love the small town charm (I always run into someone I know), love bringing visiting friends here (they demand to go here now). Be aware: it's busy middle-morning on the weekends, and it's generally the owner and possibly one assistant making everything happen.”

“Exactly what you would expect I'd a 71 year old diner! Yummy breakfast! The sausage is fantastic!! Grits, eggs, bacon, home fries, pancake, all perfect! I took one star off because seating was challenging. No tables, just booths that do not offer a generous amount of room. If we didn't have our son, we could have sat at the counter. Not car seat/ plus size friendly :(”

“I am here in Winchester for my sons BMX race. I saw this place on google and man am I happy. By far the best Jerk Chicken I have ever had and I have had a lot. The rice n peas were amazing as well. The owner, Lloyd was very attentive and friendly. This will be a go to spot for me whenever I come to Winchester again. I'm really going to miss the jerk chicken.”
