This is our favorite Thai restaurant in TC. We’ve brought out of town friends here many times and they all say it’s the best too! Super tasty food, friendly staff, and quick pick up options. The pineapple fried rice and butterflies are not to be missed!
We went here for dinner, it got quite busy after 6.00. We started with chicken satay appetizer, love the peanut sauce for dipping& chicken was cooked nicely. We also got but butterflies also.
We ordered beef pad Thai, beef pad khee mao, and a yellow chow mein noodle dish.
We had one family member that cannot tolerate any spice level, we were told the dishes started with a low level 1 spice... So that was hard for them to eat their dish. The yellow noodle chow mein dish had a fresh flavor, lots of veggies. The beef was velveted nicely.
I think the pad khee mao was the better of all the noodle dishes, the flatwide rice noodles were a good texture & fresh veggies. I do prefer to have more sweet & salty sauce than this dish had. I think the spice level it automatically comes with was dominating this pad khee mao dish.
The level 3 spice level on our pad thai was extremely hot and drowned out the sweet, salty, sour pad thai sauce flavor profile of the dish. Maybe start with a 1 or a 2. Glad we ordered a thai iced tea to drink. The dishes were big, had leftovers for the next day.
There was a huge family eating in there, they had a lot of traditional chef specials on the menu, Maybe we just didn't order the right things.
Went for a dinner and ordered a couple of the Bangkok rolls, noodle dishes and a bowl of rice. The service was quick and friendly. The price for the appetizer was a bit much for 4 rolls (~$8). They were good and cut in half. They were not burning hot when they arrived at our table. Shortly afterward, our dishes came out. The prices for the noodle dishes was very reasonable (just above $10). Got the spice tray instead of the kitchen making it spicy. The noodles were a little overcooked, but the flavors were good. If you are expecting a thick gravy for rad nah, it's more like a broth. The pad see ewe was good too.
When I got off of my shift, I needed a place as close as possible to the mall, and I found this restaurant walking distance.
I was greeted nicely. it was not very busy at that time. It was sunday at around 5pm. the restaurant looked very clean!. Music was not loud; it was a comfortable atmosphere. I decided to order the Pad Thai with tofu.
The service was prompt and the waitress was really nice and polite.
The dish was amazing! Very flavorful, and the portion was just right.
It was also very affordable if you're on a budget but looking for something that isn't fast food.
I definitely want to come back to try more dishes!
AAAAAAAABSOLUTELY our favorite Thai place to eat!! We've been coming to this place for over a decade. Their food is so fresh and yummy and they are able to accommodate any special requests we have. Great prices. Large portions. And the friendliest staff and owners. They just started a boba tea bar this week and they are *chef's kiss* Esssssspecially their house made Thai tea flavor! 🤤🤤
We HIGHLY recommend this place! All staff is wearing their masks and following protocol. This is our first time eating in the dining area in many many months.
