“Visiting for the week from out of town and we wanted a nice traditional breakfast before starting the adventures of the day. Came to Oak Table Cafe based on the excellent reviews and . . . they did not disappoint! Excellent breakfast and an absolutely friendly staff. We were actually amazed while watching the staff at how friendly, helpful and attentive they were with all of the guests, including us. Our meals, the Pancake Platter and the 49er Lumberjack breakfasts were delicious. Definitely five stars and we'll remember to come back next time we're in town.”

“If I ever have a messed up order I always try and go back to the individual store that messed up my order, but sometimes that's not feasible. We were headed out of town for a hike and didn't realize both our drink orders were wrong until we were well past being able to turn around. This store was on the way to our location so we stopped in and they were more than happy to fix or drinks even though they weren't the ones that mixed our order up. “I called while on my lunch break to put in an order and I was told they did not accept orders over the phone.. repeated it twice.. it kind of felt rude or as if he was busy, I was right down the road, okay not a big deal, wanted to go there anyways to pick it up. I still went and ordered (this is my second visit, I really liked the seasoned fries from my first visit) I ordered 2 sliders and a large fry. When ordering, I was questioned how I ordered, confusing. Okay, no big deal again, but not very welcoming. They called my name, I got my order, back to work and the sliders have a pickle and sauce on them.. I thought it was advertised with the toppings, being $8 an order and the fries are not seasoned at all. Very disappointed, for $12.. not worried about the price, but not stoked on what I got for the price Figured a review could help as a new business, we are a small town and I think it would be convenient to do orders over the phone and to be more consistent. Great potential, will be back, trying not to be negative!”

“Bundle up! So much snow up there right now that Grandson was sledding for HOURS. He loved the children's sled area (and so did I). Really appreciate the visitor's center and the fact they had extra thick socks and gloves up there (in addition to a rental area with snow shoes, etc.). We were a group of 8, each with different requests, and Trevor took our order with a big smile, perfect accuracy and professional manor. The young lady at the window was just as sweet and kind as she pleasantly served us our food. If you are hungry for the best burger around, this is the place to get it. I am sure the other items were good too, but all of us had only the burgers and fries.”
