Pillowy, but still elastic dough, with just the right amount of glaze, and a delightful flavor with a hint if something unusual — orange perhaps? The chocolate frosted old fashioned was not quite as good, so 4 stars, but really, with prompt, cheerful service, good price, and drive through option, it’s a 4.8.”

“Just had an early dinner at what was easily the best cafe I've been to in forever! My kid and I were heading up to see if we could get a peek at Mt St Helens (sadly disappointed there due to cloud cover, unfortunately) and researched a bit before heading out from Vancouver. Thank goodness we did, as we were able to avoid the shady dive across the road and instead had a superb experience at the Lone Fir Cafe! Food was great, service was excellent and the gift shop is not to be missed! I'll be making it a point to visit here again on my next trip west!”

“Visited this location yesterday from out of town before getting on the road for 1.5 hour trip home. Ordered nitro Cold brew. Barista must be new because he/she gave me a cup of foam. Once it settled only 3/4 full, but was already on the road so couldn't turn back to get topped off. This is a nice Starbucks, but this was a poor experience.”

“I ordered through UberEats and it took over an hour for my order to get picked up. When I got the notification that a driver was on their way, I was worried that my drink would be gross from sitting for so long. I called the store and asked them to remake my order but they informed me that they don’t start their orders until the drivers get there so that it’s fresh when it’s delivered. It was such a pleasant surprise! The woman on the phone was so nice. Thank you so much!!”

“It's McDonald's so... What can I say? The food is exactly what you're expecting. The real difference here seems to be the employees. At other locations about 66% of the time there's SOMETHING wrong with my order. But these folks get it right probably 98% of the time. And when they do make a mistake it's taken care of immediately. Most places have high turnover because they employ a lot of kids. But I see the same faces. They must be doing something right.”

“I love a business that excels in more than capacity. Grounds for Opportunity is a cafe, a training facility, and a service organization. Both my husband and I loved the unique and tasty food options and robust Starbucks coffee. He had a half order of the huge Country Benedict with gravy. I tried the Kitchen Sink Omelet and had to take half of it home. Their homemade jam is a perfect accompaniment to their wide selection of breads. We will be back to try lunch. It's a favorite of law enforcement and where the cops eat is always good. The restaurant is spotless, including the restrooms, and the service is top notch and personable.”

“Love hearth coffee. I come here often when my son is in school to study with a big cup of coffee. I love how open it is and how I don’t feel like I’m shoulder to shoulder with other guests. Staff is always friendly and prompt. I will say however, it’s always so cold! I don’t know if that has to do with the garage window or not, but I find that my coffee gets cold quick if it’s not in a to go cup. Nonetheless, I don’t feel like that’s enough to dock stars from the overall review. Also, to the guy in this review section who gave this lovely place 1 star because of the fact it **may** be democratic, how dare you be so hateful and let that hate stand between your ability to enjoy a cup of quality coffee or tea. Way to not support diversity of belief or even, freedom of speech. There is absolutely nothing about this establishment that screams “democratic” or demands that every person who walks through the door conform to their *possible* political belief. Hearth has always been welcoming and I am thankful for such an inviting and inclusive business in the Longview area.”
