Staff was really helpful and attentive. Food was a little strong in the average category, but we'll priced so if you're comparing to Azteca or something you know is similar this is a better bet for the dollar.
The buffalo wings were not buffalo as much as mild honey wings and the ranch sauce wasn't any kind of ranch I've ever had before, but it was good enough I was able to finish it without complaint at least.
The "Mexican" was exactly to standard so as mentioned, go for the price and less noise and people. The wait is better and overall if your expectations are not too high you'll be happy more than most places.
Excellent food. I was a big fan of the Mexican restaurant that was in this location previously. But it had been a while since we'd been there. One of those things where a place you really like slips your mind. Well I drove through the Home Depot parking lot and noticed kids eat free on Tuesday now, where the old place was Sunday kids eat free. Well we decided to give them a shot on a Tuesday evening. I always get Chicken Burritos from every Mexican restaurant, it's my benchmark item I give them all a shot at. La Chata did an excellent job with their chicken burrito. I had cut it in half and expected I would bring the 2nd half home for lunch tomorrow. Well that plan went out the window and I ate the whole thing. The shredded chicken had a good flavor, the Spanish rice was excellent, their chips were fresh and their salsa was a little on the spicy side which I liked a lot. Overall the experience was great. Found my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Covington!
Not bad. Just standard American Mexican food. Clean and we'll run, very nice staff.
Service was very good! It's Americanized Mexican food, but that's not a bad thing. I had a good quesadilla, but it overall the food was just above average.
Service was excellent, we were seated quickly and the wait for our food was short. The food was scrumptious, really high quality. I had the quesadillas and my friends had the enchilada and we were both satisfied with our orders. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back.
