Scott's Dairy Freeze

Scott's is a classic of North Bend, with its tiny, brightly colored storefront and its windowside ordering from a bygone age. Within, the vintage menu board and old-school Coke placards send the visitor on a trip back in time. The burgers here are heaping and fully loaded, and this is the only place I've seen that serves deep fried mushrooms. But the key here are the shakes - as evidenced by the name - serving up milkshakes, avalanches, glaciers, and slushies, most with seasonal flavors - don't skip on trying one during your visit.

Great spot to stop after a long hike! The Avalanche is probably my fave and my girlfriend is a big fan of the sundae. Great outdoor seating as well.

Absolute staple of North Bend. They got all things good for your post hike/bike needs for super reasonable prices: I'm currently doming some fantastic tots I got for like 3.50. The employees are some of the biggest chillers in Washington. My boy Casey (unsure of the spelling but pronounced K C) legit says "preciate you" to every customer in such a kind way.
