Always good. The shakes a re good too.
It's open long hours, which is certainly convenient. The burgers aren't exceptional or anything but they certainly aren't bad, they're a solid 4/5. The drink machine was out of pretty much all the non-diet sodas but I'd chalk that up to everyone being under quarantine right now. Quick service, straightforward. It's not exactly atmospheric inside but they do have free peanuts that you get to shell yourself and there's a certain amount of charm to that. Pretty affordable, too.
Five guys stands alone as a superb purveyor of hamburgers . I like their menu, it's pretty simple . And when it comes to toppings don't just get everything think it through . For example I like mushrooms okay but not really on a burger . Just explain to them real quick what you'd like, keep it spartan and you'll have a delicious double beef cheeseburger the way you like it in about five minutes . The fries are the real star of the show here , the place is stacked in the rafters with bags of potatoes and they provide the provenance of that day's batch on the board . Really, order a big ole French fry to go along with whatever you're having . I have a standard cheeseburger and fries every once in a while , for modest money and you won't find better .
Never disappointed. I come here about once a week and always enjoy a little bacon cheeseburger or the big one. Shakes are good, but not my favorite ever - just personal preference. The burgers are really the stars - crumbly, lean, perfectly cooked patties, CRISP bacon, good veggies (lettuce/tomatoes/onion), great buns.
Enjoyed a big fat cheeseburger qirh my FREE fixings on the side instead of on my burger. They included grilled onions grilled green peppers grilled mushrooms tomato pickles and all the regular toppings. Also enjoyed a couple of scoops of salty peanuts to munch on while we waited. The Five Guys team are friendly and welcoming and the place was pretty darn clean with an excellent rating from the state posted at the door. We spent $25 for the two of us which included two cheeseburgers and a large fry. No drinks. The large fries where fresh cut Idaho potatoes fried in peanut oil and were awesome. A bit pricey. A casual atmosphere is great for families. We will be back.
