Small plates are delicious. Tandoor Cauliflower is a must-have. Seating is cozy but ambiance is lively so it feels less cramped than festive.

Service is great — while waiting for a spot to open up I went next door to Olaf’s for a beer. I accidentally left my credit card there. The next day I called Olaf’s to see if they had my card. They didn’t pick up, so then called Rupee’s to ask if they had it. They offered to walk over to Olaf’s and ask them in person and low and behold they found my card and grabbed it for me. Beyond great service within the restaurant, it seems like the waiters there are kind people outside of it too. :)

Lovely place! Great ambience. And OMG what lovely soul satisfying food! The plate portions are small, so we ended up ordering multiple orders and almost the entire menu. It’s new business, but I would really want to go back here after a few months to check what’s new they have to offer!

My husband and I love their environment so much. Their food are fantastic as well. It is totally different experience compared to normal South Asian restaurants in the USA. Their food are in small portion but the quality are excellent!

Delicious food, emphasis on drinks, very good service! Ideal for a date, or party of 2 otherwise you might have to wait. Beautiful environs, small plates, not ideal for a big meal.

    Fantastic spot!
Narrow spot that seats few and romantically intimate.
Great design and decor; delighted with brass Phoenix bathroom door handle.
    Friendly service.
Great food with simple menu. Fried chicken is incredibly tender with light but flavorful peppery coat. Fish curry is delicate and not a strong dish comparatively. Cauliflower is buttery with tasty sauce. Ribs were tender. Shrimp is interesting but unimpressed with fried shrimp shells. Dessert is worth having.
