This place exceeded my expectations of a classic burger joint. FOOD: I had a standard cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, Scooter sauce, but no onions (which are available only upon request-no extra charge). The burger was perfectly shaped, bun and all. Looked like a bathing ad. I also had the small fries, which is actually a decent amount for 1 person. I really like the crispiness. And a Butterfinger shake. This was all part of Combo 1 (I sub'd the shake instead of the drink for an extra charge. When I arrived, no other customers were there so I took my time getting out of my vehicle (FYI-large parking area for a lot of vehicles) and then staring at the large menu board in the wall (lots of options). 4 other customers immediately got in line ahead of me. Regardless, the wait was only about 5-7 minutes. More customers came in to pick up food orders (you can phone in an order). In addition to all that parking, there are 2 entrances. There is some seating inside (maybe for 8-10 people) and there are picnic tables outside. I will be back. I would even bring my kids here.
Been coming here for years. Same great flavors. A little pricey but worth it
Amazing food, very nice staff, and not over priced.
Edit: New owner destroyed the burger quality and now it feels like I'm buying a mc Donald's burger. I ordered a blue cheese burger and the cheese was this depressing light blue splatter that tasted like nothing on top of the also depressing Patty. The quality has lowered for sure. I will no be going back to Scooters until there is a new owner.
Just a simple lunch joint, and in a neighborhood like Ballard that's incredible. The fries are crispy and so very good. Burgers are solid.
Great, cheap, easy, tasty fast food! The menu was pretty diverse so its east to switch it up to a different style burger. (Props to Scooters for having sesame buns!) Really crispy fries too!
