When I first went here two years ago, they must have been having a bad day...or maybe I was. I rated the place a 2 at that time.

I have gone back since a number of times, and now--with that additional information--I would give it a 4. I particularly like the fry sauce, and the fries that I've gotten since my first visit have been better than the original ones.

My favorite entree is their Tri Strip Steak Sandwich.

For the record, I've left my original review below.

I don't consider it valid any longer.

I would now recommend Habit Burger to others.

I really can't understand all the positive reviews for Habit Burger. The burger is ordinary except for being very greasy and so is AT BEST 3 Stars in my book, but more like 2 Stars. The fries, which were fresh out of the fryer were the taste and texture of McD's fries after they have been sitting for too long, so they were at best--well, I guess a 1, since they just were not even edible to me and almost all went into the trash.

On a positive note some of the signature sandwiches looked like they might be better, the lime drink looked intriguing, and the condiments bar was above average.

The place also seemed very "corporate": cramped, with things like a corralled queue for ordering, little buzzer thingies to call you to pick up your food (where other places will bring it to your table or have faster "instant" service"). The employees seemed to be be scripted automatons with painted on smiles because they were told that they needed to smile.

I prefer a place with a little more personality.

I love eating here for quick and delicious food. I always order ahead to skip the line and then dine in. Their salads are always fresh and delicious (and it's not just shredded lettuce being repurposed from burgers). The dining area is usually a bit loud and busy -it's definitely designed for people to eat and head out quickly but no one will usher you out once you're done. It's always busy but the food is always fast.

Good solid burgers and sides. Tried their burger, chicken sandwich, fried green beans and onion rings. Battered, not breaded and the batter was light and crisp. Highly recommend their juices, the peach ginger was delightful. Good-sized portions for reasonable eating, but priced a touch higher.

    Very in the middle.

Nothing stands out about the burgers or the salads (except the unusually high calorie count on the salads), they all seem to be just the ingredients, nothing special. Have been here a few times, never been dazzled. Burgers were medium temperature, neither hot nor cold, fries were so bland, no salt could pep them up, even the jalapenos and other peppers seem to have been robbed of their bite by this place.

Recently came around holiday time, they played half holiday songs and half late 90s alternative rock, weird but whatever. We heard a song by the Gin Blossoms, and thought it was perfect for this restaurant, an excellent embodiment of plainness that somehow got big.

Delicious burgers! Juicy and flavorful. They have a small burger bar of sorts with additional toppings to add spice if desired. The fried green beans are a good option to save a couple hundred calories compared to the fries or onion rings. Inside is clean and staff is friendly and ready to serve.
