Island Queen

Island Queen has great soups and salads as well as burgers with some nice extras. The onion rings are very tasty! Great local lunch spot with super nice staffing.

I thought this would be all about frozen patties and cheap ingredients but my Cowboy Burger was awesome - an obviously hand-formed 100% beef burger cooked to a perfect medium-well with crispy edges, bacon, an onion ring, & fresh toppings. The bbq sauce could be tangier. The bun was the standard no-frills. All for only $1 more than a "fancy" McDonalds burger. The fries are good, and they do cherry dipped cones, which are my guilty pleasure... get half of it dipped in cake batter topping..omg. Counter service was friendly and accommodating. Wait time was really short.

Editing my review as it was pretty harsh. The pattie was smaller than the palm of my hand. The fries came out unsalted. Small drink was half the size of most fast food drinks. And the icecream had no flavor. But food was served with a smile and the atmosphere is nice.

Came in on a busy day and my order got mixed up but that is all understanding due to how busy it was! Other than that the burger, fries, and drinks was great!
