We got the chicken wings, green beans, and black bean noodles and everything was fresh and high quality. “I heard about The Counter at Old Ballard Catering and paid a visit after ordering online. They made it pretty easy to order online with an easy to use online ordering system accessed from their website. They had a lot of Greek foods, I heard the owners are of Greek descent, but they also had other foods like fish tacos. I ended up going with the Athena gyro because it’s not something I’ve had before. I parked at the restaurant and waited and one of the owners brought it out to my car even though I had not checked in yet – very good service. The woman was very friendly as well. For the food, the gyro was tasty. The fries were a nice addition to the gyro, but what struck me the most was the meat. The pieces of meat seemed less like they were on a spit and more like they were pieces of steak. I can’t confirm either way, but I appreciated the steak-like quality of the meat they put in the gyro. I’ve seen the storefront they are currently in change hands a few times in the past few years and I hope they will hold on to for a long time to come. I definitely recommend visiting!”

“WAY better than I expected for a vegan burger! The "cheese" they used was excellent, the Beyond patty was great, overall an excellent package. The mushroom bacon fries are incredible as well! Only thing I would suggest for them is to work on a better recipe for the vegan milkshakes, there are some really fantastic vegan ice creams available even from some of the local ice cream shops that would make MUCH better milkshakes that aren't icy.”

“What a wonderful experience! Not one for posting reviews but wanted to share that we stopped in after passing by last few days and seeing the social media posts (very cool use of social media BTW). Had a slew of kiddos, overwhelmed the place, everyone was graceful, socially respectful and did a wonderful job. Onto the food, it was truly delicious and its apparent they care about the quality! Husband got an adult meal, the kids and I all got kids meals! They say its not fast food, but was worth the 10-15 min wait! Whatever you did from the old Teddy’s really does show! We did enjoy the shake of the month before, which is all we would come in for, are those coming back? Welcome to the neighborhood (if you’re new), we will return for more!”
