Hitchcock

Have been eating at Hitchcock for 7 years - had my first date with my wife there - and it is consistently one of the best restaurants in Washington (and the entire US)

Hitchcock is one of those few places that actually retains its value through years of service. I went last night and had their chef's tasting menu plus wine tastings. My husband and I loved it. We had 8 or 9 courses, each of which were beautifully presented and tasted incredible. You can tell when a chef is going for a certain experience or flavor profile and doesnt quite hit the mark. Well, all our courses hit the nail on the head. They were impeccable. The staff asks beforehand what your dietary restrictions are if you have any. Also, the wine pairings were PERFECT. Dear god I want to go again. Go for the tasting experience. You wont be disappointed. IMO, the flavors were better than Canlis at a third of the price. Phenomenal.

Our favorite date night spot, and only a 35 minute ferry ride away from Seattle. Unique and delicately catered dishes (seafood and meats) with a diverse wine list. The atmosphere is romantic and intimate.

The atmosphere and food was incredible! The service could have been a little better for the price, but overall wasn't terrible. One of the items I had ordered completely toppled over when it was placed on the table and the waitress didn't say anything about it. Not a big issue at all though. I would definitely go back again.

Really fun and delicious food. Our server was really engaging and knowledgeable, and told us stories about sourcing the food! The tasting menu was interesting throughout. Would definitely visit again!
