The selection and quality of the food is excellent above that of other cafes I've eaten at. “I'm new to the area and was looking for some good fish and chips. This place came recommended by a co-worker and everything was as described. Delicious, affordable, and large servings. The staff were friendly and the food was served promptly. The menu is extensive and includes a wide variety from Asian terriyaki to Fish and chips and everything in between. The sides were also delicious! The coleslaw had the right amount of sweetness and the clam chowder was amazing. I Highly recommend you try this place. The ambiance is so-so, but if you want a great tasting, affordable meal with large portions, this is the place. I'll definitely be back. Be sure you know ahead of time whether you want panko or tempura batter. I had the panko this time. Next time I'll try the tempura. Incidentally, the fish and chips special was $9.99.”

Those were so good we decided to get pastries and wow, incredible....we got them for the road but they didn't make it that long. “This McDonald's is always incredibly clean. I brought my daughter here yesterday for dinner and the play place was empty so she has it all to herself. The staff were very courteous and speedy. They even brought our food out to our table. They had someone doing dining room checks every 30 minutes, walking around collecting trays, wiping tables, sweeping up under the tables. I will definitely be back to this establishment and I will recommend it to others!”

From the bun, to the basil mayo and perfectly cooked egg (I also added cheese and bacon), it was all so tasty. I was also able to try their infamous cinnamon roll and wow. “There is a certain amount of comfort I find when I travel. Comfort in familiarity. I remember being in Roma/Rome and seeing a McDonald's near the Spanish steps. I had been in Europe for about six months so I was homesick. McDonald's was there to produce the same food in the same atmosphere. This McDonald's is just one light away from the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal, which is really nice. It's close to all the shops in the artsy area by the Museum. It's right next to a hardware store. If you haven't tried to get off the ferry and drive off the island yet, you may want to stop for some McDonald's, the traffic is insane. Luckily the island is beautiful.”

“Just moved here recently and this became my new coffee place immediately. Everyone there was nice and the house drip coffee is good and at a good price. They have a good coffee loyalty program and I already enjoyed my first free drink on New Years Eve. I stopped over for a beer later that evening , ( amazing pints) and ended up staying until they closed. I really did not know anyone in town yet and I was really made to feel at home. Talked to many nice locals and heard some very nice music from Kara Hesse who was the featured performer. It was a very nice evening, nice crowd, lots of families having fun and very glad this establishment is right by me !”

“Great little cafe for breakfast and/or lunch. Cozy feel with a hippie decor and friendly staff. The food is very good, and quality coffee is available with it. Main drawback is that the small size belies its popularity. They seem to have space available to expand - and I think retain that cozy atmosphere - but choose not to. As it is now, expect a wait, especially on weekends.”

“Excellent service, lots of fresh veggie options for omelettes, breakfast burritos, and such. The potatoes were delicious and portions were generous. The interior is a little small, and they were hopping when I got there. But they did a good job of partitioning the space to make the most of it! And it's in an old church building with quite a bit of history, so it's almost worth the visit for the structure! I went solo and they sat me at a community table of sorts, which was pleasant. And I was glad to not be taking a whole table for myself.”

“The store was completely rebuilt from the ground up.. From what I've seen it is being well maintained which is a plus.. Service is quick but not overly fast so that the orders are being correctly cooked and served.. Front counter is is prompt and order taker was helpful but not pushy so the customer can place an order that they want, not what they were told to want.. The chicken nuggets were cooked thoroughly and 5 miles down the road they were still hot.. A good snack, it was easy to eat without taste issues .”

In the few seconds we interacted he asked me how I was, thanked me for my business, wished me a wonderful safe day and requested my continued business in a very polite manner.
