Better come hungry - you get quite a bit of food at reasonable prices, but you may want to share (we took home leftovers). “I'm getting into Trucking and our teacher did take us to the truck stop on a field trip. I can honestly say that this truck stop is almost heaven for the professional driver and a nice place to eat for the casual driver. They have both a sit-down restaurant and a fast-food type counter. The store is fully loaded and they have everything that a professional trucker would need. Lots of parking, especially for the big rigs. This truck stop really impressed me with all the nice products they carried. It's one of those One-Stop Shop type of businesses.”

“This store owner is awesome he helps our locals with jobs facing adversity. He has good gas and the deli Joe Joe's and chicken spot on. Biscuits and gravy grubbing. Pizza not bad considering where we at. And if ya know the area we close down early so get your pizza ordered by 8-8:30 pm just like any gas station he can be rude but only when dealing with rude individuals always polite and nice to my family. My 7 yr old loves the Joe's. And ranch did I mention they have skippers fish and chips.”

Today we tried salads for the first time, normally it has been sandwiches. A large portion chef salad and a large portion taco salad. The toppings (Deli meats, cheeses, tomatoes, egg & dressings) for the Chef was delicious. Same for the Taco meat. However, I expected more than just Iceberg lettuce mix. For being the best Deli in the area, the salads are just plain. Add some olives, sprouts or even a Peppercini. Just a suggestion.”

“Their beer wall and selection is so unique and convenient I love it, they have this burger with Mac and cheese that I thought would be too much but actually is one of the better burgers in town. The bartenders are super nice and accommodating. Kelly is awesome and personable, Tim is a good bartender and Derek is an awesome server. I would I recommend checking them out. “When in Packwood, this is a must stop. The family-friendly space is great. There is a variety of comfortable table sizes which is nice for our family -party of 7. We planned on a quick stop for a drink after spending the day hiking at Mt Rainier, but ended up hanging out for a couple of hours, ordering food and enjoying a couple of rounds while playing Apples to Apples. The vibe is warm and welcoming and makes you want to hang out. The beer is good. The staff works hard. They have a ton of board games that are clean and well maintained.”
