Castaway's Seafood Grille

Food was excellent, especially the fish and chips. The homemade clam chowder was phenomenal. Not sure if the service is always slow, but I’d say best to go in and expect “Beach Time” or avoid if you’re in a hurry.

Loud place, but perfect if you have kids that make a little noise. Prices aren't too bad for the quality and quantity of food you get. Clam chowder was excellent. The kids menu mini cheeseburger and fries was a pleasant gourmet surprise. Captain's Platter was a good portion. The fried cod had a great beer battered kick on the back end. Would visit again. Recommended

First time to Long Beach. Stopped in for clam strips and crab cakes. Food and service was awesome. Very busy, but not a long wait. Came back the next day for chowder bowls, and they remembered us! Chowder was the best I've had. Service is great! Definitely will go back!

Some of the best fish-n-chips I've had in a long time. Did I say the best? I meant the "Best!" The chowder too was incredible. We came back the next day for a second round it was that good. If your ever in the area, stop by. You won't be disappointed.
