Black Bear Diner

Not the service and food quality we are used to at this location. Ordered tri-tip and got about six slices of meat cooked just a little past rare. Meat was already cool when delivered; sent back to have cooked some more and waitress brought the rest of the meal back to me. Why wasn't the whole plate held until meat was done? Husband ordered chicken fried steak with eggs over easy and red potatoes. Eggs were very close to over hard and red potatoes tasted scorched. First time we ever visited mid-week. Service and food way below standards we normally get on weekends.

Just got settled in the area and was craving breakfast food. Took my family on a Saturday morning! The food arrived at a decent time considering it was busy. Our server Celia was very friendly and attentive. Happy we already found a great breakfast place to dine at!

Black Bear Diner is a great place to eat. Generous portions, quality food, nice service, and reasonably priced. They also have Prime Rib, Rib eye steak, Beyond Burgers, baked potatoes, great potato fries, veggie options, lots of desserts, real dairy butter, real dairy creamer. You won't be hungry after you leave. Nice friendly Idaho, Montana type atmosphere, and decore, and a small Black Bear themed gift area. Try it!????

My first trip there and the food was amazing! Had the bacon cheeseburger salad. It was super fresh and crisp. I need to go there more and try all of the other delicious offers.
