DND Soul Cuisine

My husband and I have been looking for good authentic soul food since we moved here from Louisiana and haven’t found anything that could even come close until today!!! The catfish was seasoned and fried perfectly! The pork chop was juicy and very well seasoned. The collard greens…AMAZING!!! I haven’t had collard greens like that since I was living back home. The cornbread, the Mac n cheese…I mean EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!! The portion sizes are nice and filling. But what I loved most was the vibe of this place! You feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. Maria is so friendly, she’s attentive, and very welcoming. I love me some good customer service and if you can provide that AND some good ole soul food, then you have my business for life! My only regret is that I didn’t know about this place sooner. But, now that I do, I’m telling all my family and friends here in WA about it! Thank you DND for such a delicious dinner! 😍

What A vibe!!! I can say as a F&B director in a local casino, I am blessed to try A LOT of great food and I don't take my next statement lightly ... Hands down the best catfish Tacoma has to offer!! Everything was so delicious, but I will have dreams of that fish! The red beans & rice were crazy good and the greens are done very well. I can not wait to take my mother back to one of my newest favorite spots to eat in Tacoma!! Please allow me really quick to also comment on the great customer service and amazing atmosphere they create as well

Perfect. Thought the prices were a bit high until the food came out. Large portions of everything. Best catfish and wings I've had, crispy, soft, and hot. Red beans and mac were amazing. Great service from the personable Maria and the dude who brought out a heater when he saw my mom put her coat on. The cook from down south knows what's up.

Found DND on a map search, turned out it was their soft opening. I got two sides: the collard greens and red beans and rice. So Good!!! Will be back to try other menu items. Glad to have them in the neighborhood! Also, service was friendly.

While visiting family in Tacoma my husband and I had a craving for some soul food. We hit the jackpot when we found DND Soul Cuisine. The catfish was amazing and the collard greens were seasoned to perfection. The restaurant was quaint and cozy with owners at the helm that treat you like you are a special guest in their home. You can’t go wrong at this place if you are looking for good food and good service!
