Shari's Cafe and Pies

The hot chocolate is superb but the food is just okay.

My friends and I just got back from the Sound of Music sing along at the 5th Ave theater on Friday night. As soon as we got to Tacoma we decided that we were hungry. What's open and at that time of night...morning really? SHARI'S. Yes indeed Shari's. We all decided that breakfast was the way to end to our "Girl's Night Out". We had fast and friendly service. Breakfast cooked to order. I like my bacon crisp and egg over medium. Of course we had pie for dessert. Good food and good price. That is the way to end our time together.

The foods great. Service is top notch. Meat temps are on point. Medium. The peanut butter pie is sinful.
Very clean restaurant. Next up breakfast, as I've been eating dinner there for the past couple of days.

Having never been to a Shari's and seeing them all over the place, we just had to stop in and try it. We stopped in very early for some breakfast, before taking all back roads to see Mount Rainier & Mount Saint Helens. The waitress was wonderful, very friendly and made some recommendations and shared just the right amount of small talk. The food came quickly and was super tasty. Very good value for the money. I loved the loaded hash browns! Definitely worth stopping by and checking them out. If we had one closer, we'd definitely stop by more frequently.
