The Alleycat Patio & Lounge

This place has the same owners as Half Pint Pizza and, fittingly, is just across the alley. Half Pint is great but feels like more of a restaurant than a bar and stopped having live music a long time ago. Starting a bar/venue next door was a savvy move. The severs are universally friendly and handle rushes well.

The menu leans Greek but includes a burger and fries because, well, this is Tacoma (the Greek waffle fries are a fun fusion of the two). I like the portobello gyro and I’ve ordered the hummus plate without saying, “I guess I’ll just order the hummus plate.” I’ve yet to see a show here but these seem to still be a little sporadic which I’m sure will change. Oh, and don’t forget to try the pong game in the corner.

Had high hopes for this new bar but was somewhat disappointed. Lighting already broken, table of four received one menu, no Happy Hour special, sugary drinks, and wait staff not very attentive. BUT the food was very tasty!

Happy staff, fair selection of beers, some good ciders. The food is well done. The ambience was very pleasant.

Love the location of this place.
Love the decor, a really great space with a lot of potential especially the patio.
I really like when Chloe (not sure of spelling) or Kim is working. They have a great vibe and make you feel welcome.
Not so much on days they aren’t working.
Hence the three stars instead of the five I want to give it.
If they were there more often my friends and I would spend more time here.

We asked the bartender to just surprise us. Make something he enjoys making. What we tasted were 4 of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Creative, aromatic, sometimes sweet and salty, sometimes savory and spicy - just the best. If you like music and pool and outdoor covered seating with unique fresh food on the menu go here.
