“This was probably the only Mexican restaurant in this quaint town. The food was simply ok. The staff was very friendly.”

“One of my favorite places in town! The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and is friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are also very fair. I know nothing about wine and felt a little out of my range going to a place like this, but I've since been back several times!”

“Mary Ann's Kitchen in Anacortes has some great Vegan dishes. On occasion I have ordered one and then asked if she could include three different types of meat in it. To her gracious credit she has generously complied. If you have not eaten there heretofore I can only recommend that you hasten to do so....”

“We waited a very long time before receiving our food, however, it was so worth the wait. I had an amazing dish of Spaghetti and meatballs with four large meatballs and steaming hot pasta covered in spaghetti sauce. It was very affordable for the quality of which it was. I was very impressed. The wait was really lengthy but id would come back just to get some more of this food.”

“I’ve been on a quest to find the best burger in Washington, and I feel as though my quest ends here. The burger was big and tasted amazing, juicy, cooked to perfection. I’m sad I live so far away, cause I’d be here every day otherwise. Also, the staff made us feel like we were having lunch at dad’s house, and I loved that. Check this place out!”

“We had the nachos an meat balls! They were both really good. We were there during weird hours so we were the only ones in the restaurant. And missed happy hour so we didn't get the 20% off but our late lunch was still under 40 bucks for two with drinks so all in all a good enough deal. If this place was closer to home we would be back often, but since they are 2 and a half hours from home. It will have to wait until we are here again.”

“Don't let the location of this restaurant put you off. Have faith in the reviews and try for yourself. If you want some proper Mexican food, eat here. Bring your translator though, because the menu is in Spanish. Or ask the waitress. She is very helpful and will explain what the menu means if you are not bilingual.”

“Great place..great view of the port.. delicious food..the award winning clam chowder was worthy of the name.. mocktails were refreshing. Stumbled upon this place by mistake.. but it turned out to be a good mistake :)”

“Love the new order yourself screens. Also found out you could order americanos customized to your liking. Much better than the drip coffee.”

“Chicken is always crunchy and sweet, the egg drop is soothing, tea is better then the other locals. Vegetables are usually a bit tough and rubbery at times, but I needs me veggies. Flavors are basic sweet with a hint of heat. It's always satisfying on a cold day.”

“Good pizza and fast service when you just want something quick and easy. They are also always friendly.”

“We were staying a few days on vacation and came by this place by accident on Christmas Eve! So glad we did :) The food was great, (huge servings) and service was very quick. Our server was professional and fun to talk to. They have a huge selection of thin crust pizzas, as well as regular entree pasta items and specials. Our dinner here was a nice end to the day and made up for the experience we had just had at the last restaurant, which I also reviewed!”

“I love going here but don't often due to severe allergies, Michelle is always able to accommodate though and that kind of service gets the 5 stars”

“Super delicious! Easy stop to grab dinner before heading for the boat home. It can get busy on a Friday night. Call ahead if you’re in a hurry. Love this place though!”

“Absolutely love this place. Their cuisine is the real deal and never disappoints. I have had the pleasure of trying most of their dishes and have loved them all. Keep in mind they are not open on Sundays or Mondays, however. If you want to taste traditional Greek food on this hemisphere then this is one of the best restaurants to visit. I can't recommend them enough.”

“Cheese ordered, not put on the sandwich. 16" sandwich should be cut in half, ours wasn't. Service was good, facility was clean.”

“I enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. They have pinball, pool, air hockey table and some other games for the kids (or adults) in the back. The service was nice and the food came quick. Wasn't so much impressed with the fried chicken, more of breaded, but all together it's quite filling. The biscuit was on par. Moderate prices, not too spendy for the amount.”

“The food here is exceptional! The meats are expertly cooked on a wood-fired smoker. The sides are prepared with care and compliment the meats. Not bland like some food trucks. And the barbecue sauce has just the right combo of heat and sweet. I owned a restaurant for 20 years and tend to be very critical; I do not give five stars very often, but this one is well deserved.”

“Delicious drinks and awesome food. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Defiantly stop by if you’re in the area this place is a gem!!”

“The staff is phenomenal. The follow even better than the staff if possible. The drinks even better than both of that is even possible.”

“The food was awesome, the servers were cheerful and attentive... I wish I lived closer so we could go back! My only complaint was that we were so full after sharing the amazing fajitas that we did not have room for the churros, which looked amazing (and also generously portioned)!”

“This place is really all depending on what you want. They have a bowling alley with an arcade on the side and then a bar/restaurant combo, seperate rooms. On this visit, it was for bowling... Not a great selection on balls, it seems the cosmic nights are not convenient, making it not fun... I have a back and shoulder injury, so I constantly have to wear an ice or hot pack, especially when doing activities like bowling with the munchkins. They couldn't even toss my hot pack in the microwave for a min... Like they don't even have a break room with a microwave to just toss it in real quick. Then, I am a human heater, regardless of the weather outside, I am usually always in shorts and a tank top or sleeveless... Just felt attitude the whole time, not quite welcome. So, I wouldn't recommend the bowling side. But the diner does have good food, and is more commonly known for a good breakfast. I have lived in the area for over 20yrs. Everytime I am there, the vibe is the same, just, kind of, is... Update*... Last time we went, did the arcade and had more kids to bowl with. Still not a huge selection on balls and the arcade is literally as the pics that are included on this post. Seemed more friendly this last time around, that comes with its own problems.... I.e... A good day for them, "staff", means a good day for you... That is just not worth the visit in my mind... Hopefully things turn around, but that is as honest as honest could be.”
